All of us know what you are talking about. I always feel a sadness when buying a 10 euro visa to Turkey, thinking of the pain and emberassment Turkish people have to go through to, in 9 out of 10 cases, get a rejection!

Papers of a job or a student at a university or the proof that she owns a house in Turkey might help too. These are 2 factors for her to turn back to Turkey, and such reasons help.

When we applied for Kadir, on behalf of my father who was going to be the sponsor, I also sent his payslips from his job, 3 in total, to show that we too are financially stable.

I also advice you to contact Lyndie from this website. She is rather busy lately, but I hope she can find time to reply you. She knows an awful lot about visas, and managed to win a visa appeal for her Turkish friend, who is now studying for a year in England.

Oh and now i come to think of it.. You two are engaged right? Pictures of that ceremony (if you had one) might come in helpful, and a receipt of the engagement ring. That should at least take away the problem about having a serious relationship or not!

ps - As mentioned by someone else, travelling with a tourist agency indeed makes all easier, but in this case would not win your ticket back and cost a hell lot of money too.
