hey,deli_kizin, i was left with the impression you like tarkan...' sent you his song şımarık,you wanted it...or you just like his music not him?...

I was just curious which songs were famous in Holland, because i got totally confused about them whaha. And i tried to trace them, but it didn't work.

I'm not too fond of his songs and i don't agree that he has a strong voice. The fact i don't like his music, is that it all sounds quite weak.. But maybe i will change my midn when i learn to understand all the lyrics. And i don't like his looks at all. I'm not sure if i think he looks worse than Gökhan Özen, but who would care anyway

I do think that Hepsi senin mi and Aman aman feat. Wyclef Jean are really cool and i listen them a lot. şımarık was nice too.

I stopped entering my daughter's room since she hanged a poster of him on her door. Little devil, she could have asked for some privacy, instead of using such tricks!

In English it is not common to use parent in a singular form. And if you ask 'is your parent with you', it can only be your mother or father, not your brother or sister. So if you think that is meant, in English it should be translated as 'Are you with your family'.

muhabbet is fondness, and comes from "love", from arabic. at the end of a message, we may translate it "with love", isnt it?

So it can be fondess or something like pleasure ( my dictionary says that ) .. but we can't translate it like " with love ".. it has a different meaning i think .

It just depends on the usage, it must match something used in English too.. 'with love and affection' or anything.

I don't know.. I'll go study my own things in the garden now and let u native turkish speakers handle it

It means something like 'My sincere condolences'

and what about "kısmetse"? and "muhabbetle"? "sevgiyle" "aşkla" maybe it is normally like "good bye"

Basiniz sagolsun Esat Abi,kismetse ilerde gelir bizleri ziyaret edersin,Denizlide sanirim biraz kalacaksin umarim guzel vakit gecirirsiniz,rabbim yardimcin olsun.

Muhabbetle...

kısmetse... i hope you come and visit us. i guess you will stay in Denizli, i hope you have a good time, may may Lord help you.
good bye

Hmm yeah i guess so because:

muhabbet = affection, love
sevgi = love
ask = love

In English we say 'With love' at the end of a letter to a dear one, like 'Tüm sevgilerimle'.. Maybe this person wasn't native or created his own way to make an English speaking person udnerstand??

kısmet olmak = to be possible
kısmetse = if possible ???

I don't know
