As a foreign student you have to take the YÖS exam. According to your results, you get to choose from different universities/courses. Not every university accepts foreign students, but i think nowadays many of them do.
Google YÖS and you'll definitely find lots of information. Without this YÖS you can't enter university, though I have read that some highscool-diplomas from soem countries (i think Germany and USA are in that list are allowed as an equivalent to those.

It's true that when you have the foreign-student-status, you are not allowed to have a part-time job. But this also wouldn't pay off. Working part-time in a restaurant, will definitey not help you much in paying your rent.

I think that you want information on secondary education though. I'm afraid I cannot help you much with it, but it's different and less various from German and American education-system.

I use the dutch one.. and i can send daily 1 sms for free to Türkiye as well. But i have a dutch simcard so i can use it.

There will be a french one soon, it's under construction. You'll be able to read it then, meltem But I'm not sure whether you'll need a french simcard for it..
