Nice weekend trips from Istanbul:

Any place on the Black Sea: these are quieter than the Med or Aegean resorts. e.g. Nice 4 star at Kerpe (2 hrs from Ist), AkÃ§akoca (3 to 4 hrs from Istanbul)

In the other direction, Hotel Princess at Kumburgaz and Klassis at Silivri are 1 hour away from AtatÃ¼rk airport.

A bit further afield: Iznik and Bursa are nice excursions, but no sea. 3 hrs from Istanbul.

Going further: the Aegean coast e.g. near Assos, or Ayvalık?

Just a correction:

UÃ§ağın 10 dakika sonra kalkması [without -nı]/inmesi [without -ni] bekleniyor.

1) UÃ§uş is flight, uÃ§ak is plane

2) Because it is a passive sentence.

As you know, in passive voce:
- subject of the active sentence is not important, for that reason, we prefer to use passive.
- [object of the active sentence]=[subject of the passive sentence] and subjects haven't got sentence/verb suffixes

[...] bekleniyor
[...]= UÃ§ağın 10 dakika sonra kalkması/inmesi
