Thread: ´Turkey is an imitation of the West´ Pamuk says

This thread reminds me Ros´s thread about Neo-Ottomanism  which is invented by Neo-Cons as Pamuk describes himself an Ottoman with his limited history knowledge and considers Republic and Atatürk unimportant. According to Neo-Cons Kemalism had died and became unsuccessful so in Turkey there need more respect for Islam and more respect for history of Ottomanism(which is a bunch of lie, imo just cover for their projets on ME, because now they cant find a better slaves than these muslim hypocrites who use religion and God to deceive public) as CIA ME headman mentioned before. Same thoughts with the Pamuk. Imo Pamuk is a bad imitation and a servant of these Neo-Cons.

Anyway, after the cold war finished, Neo-cons fully compromised these hypocrites and so-called liberals. Some even began to define secularism as radicalism. Regarding the Turkey these so-called liberals and the one who use God deceive people are on same boat just like the last times of Empire as i always mentioned. They are trying to experience moderate Islam in Turkey, so AKP government is another step to govern Turkey with slaves(but they claim these will free and lighten up people as they think Kemalism was too harsh to religious ones which is untrue and also a cover). So the target is Atatürk and his remaninig heritage nowadays. They even could not(dont want to) perceive the fact that Atatürk´s revolutions were left and werent proceeded after he had died.

Lastly Atatürk was always at the side of fully independence of Turkey. According to him Turkey cannot be fully independent if She is not freed from western imperialism and if She is not freed from eastern religious exploitation. Now decide if he is occidenatalist or whatever orientalist...

Part of an article "A dictator created then destroyed by America"

"In the aftermath of the international crimes against humanity of 2001 we have tortured, we have murdered, we have brutalised and killed the innocent - we have even added our shame at Abu Ghraib to Saddam´s shame at Abu Ghraib - and yet we are supposed to forget these terrible crimes as we applaud the swinging corpse of the dictator we created.

Who encouraged Saddam to invade Iran in 1980, which was the greatest war crime he has committed for it led to the deaths of a million and a half souls? And who sold him the components for the chemical weapons with which he drenched Iran and the Kurds? We did. No wonder the Americans, who controlled Saddam´s weird trial, forbad any mention of this, his most obscene atrocity, in the charges against him. Could he not have been handed over to the Iranians for sentencing for this massive war crime? Of course not. Because that would also expose our culpability.

And the mass killings we perpetrated in 2003 with our depleted uranium shells and our "bunker buster" bombs and our phosphorous, the murderous post-invasion sieges of Fallujah and Najaf, the hell-disaster of anarchy we unleashed on the Iraqi population in the aftermath of our "victory" - our "mission accomplished" - who will be found guilty of this? Such expiation as we might expect will come, no doubt, in the self-serving memoirs of Blair and Bush, written in comfortable and wealthy retirement. "

"The words were carefully chosen so as not to upset any side," she said. "We are not betraying anyone. We are merely telling the Armenians that we share their grief."

Funny statement above shows the hypocracy of that so-called "yaltakçý" intellectuels. I wonder if any of them share the grief of Turks during WW1 or the grief of Azeris just 17 years ago. Or if any of them realised Armenians have no intention of apology about what they had done in past. But i think Armenians are proud of these "prominent" intellectuels, maybe some awards for them are on way{#lang_emotions_wink}

Quoting amicamia

They were the ones who used to live in the east among their Turkish neighbours in peace.

The were the people who were called Millet-i Sadýka (people to be relied on ) that their Turkish neighbours could rely on them and leave their goods to them when they were even  in Mekkah (Mekke) to become pilgrims.

Then one day (during the independence war), some whistled to their ears;"We´re about to divide the  Empire into many parts,if you want to have lands for you,too come and join us".

These words;the proposals affected some of the armenians and they joined the enemies of the empire unexpectedly.

This trick of the enemies worked on very well on the armenians living there(some foresaw the coming future,didn´t want to be on the side of the deceived and left the lands soon before the conflict began.

The rest took part on the side of the enemies and then they attacked the Turkish villagers;the Turkish villagers tried to defend themselves but the deceived neighbours of them until that time,now they were together with the other enemies;using their weapons and attacking afterwards,without thinking of men,women and babies-the babies.

It was not a genocide.There happened a war in that region just because of the deceived groups who were directed by the others.

Well...years passed after the independence war.Still,there are the ones living in Turkey using their own names or the Turkish names;businessmen,tailors,singers,actors...live in peace here.

When it comes to apologise,the side who has to apologize (if it is needed ) are the grandchildren of the deceived !An apology is not needed at the real,just their feeling shame of being the supporters of them is enough.

 Good brief history, thanks too{#lang_emotions_flowers}
