I realise that these are not native Turkish letters but, when used for imported words, do they all have a capital equivilent?

â é î û

If so, are they the same as the standard capital with the same symbol above them?

yes they are all right, number 1 says 'i want to open a few new threads', and baslik doesnt need to be plural because 'birkac' - a few - already shows its plural.

Teşekkür!

Is lar/ler only used when it is not possible to infere more than one from the context?

Before I answer in Turkish, let me check I understand:
"Your dogs are happy. Because of this I am also happy I very much like dogs and cats. Do you not have any cats?"

You had me worried because I looked up "yüzden" and thought it might be derived from "yüzmek" - to skin (an animal)

In this thread Erdinç wrote "birkaç yeni başlık açmak istiyorum. Şimdi pratik yapmak çok kolay. Sen Türkçe öğrenmek istiyor musun?" which I have been attempting to translate. It doesn't seem appropriate to post my attempts in that thread so I have started a new thread.

I am far from certain that I have the translations right and have several questions about this!

birkaç yeni başlık açmak istiyorum
"I want to open some new threads"

If I have got this right, why is it başlık and not başlıklar as it is plural?

Şimdi pratik yapmak çok kolay
"Now practice is very easy"

Sen Türkçe öğrenmek istiyor musun?
"Do you want to learn Turkish?"

Am I somewhere close???

I've downloaded the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator tool and it works very well.......I have added the extra characters to AltGr (also Ctrl+Alt).

It all works fine in MS Word and within internet forms but doesn't seem to work properly in MSN Has anyone else had this problem???

If anyone wants it I can upload the installer package for the keyboard layout I have created to save you having to install the .NET framework that is needed to build the software package.
