Quoting caliptrix:

"bugün lazım çalışmak" is too strange! I am not sure, let's ask to erdinç

When you come across such an expression, for example, in a poem, just try to ask Erdinç if you have got it correctly. I am sure he would help you understand it.

Oooh do you take credit cards?
(By the way, you can only take a whip to my sweet lioness friend if you are a zillionaire !)

...hehe...thank you, sweetie! ...but I will actually be glad to whip Cyrano with his own whip, no matter how poor he is...and I will do it for free, just for him!

Hahahaha! You are killing me Aslan! Hahahaha! will whip me for free, just for me, huh? Hahahahaha! Aslan, my dear friend, don't you still know whipping is my first and foremost profession? I am specialized in whipping, you should have known this from yourself. Just look at your body, see the whip-traces on it, and you will admit how much I am right!

Ehi!

What you have said is correct for regular turkish sentences. Turkish seems to distract itself with details first and later comes to the main point, namely verb. However to end with a verb isn't always necessary for a sentence to be correct.

Cyrano, Aslan'ı kırbaçladı. = Cyrano whipped Aslan.
Cyrano kırbaçladı Aslan'ı. = Cyrano whipped Aslan.
Kırbaçladı Aslan'ı Cyrano. = Cyrano whipped Aslan.

All are correct.

Is that wishful thinking lol lol

Does the sentence structure only work if the verb relates to somthing happening from one object to another object?
Would the following be correct???

Bugün çalışmak lazım - today it is necessary to work
Bugün lazım çalışmak
Çalışmak lazım bugün

Bod, all the sentences above are not only correct grammatically, but also true, fact in reality!

And, yes, yours are also correct, though the second one is too weak in meaning; but still it is meaningful.

To that naughty lioness ASLAN !
WHIP IT - BY DEVO lol!

Don't you think there is something odd, nay, wrong in the title? It seems to me that the title must have been "Whip Her!" rather than "Whip It". What do you think about it, Aenigma?

Today, all day long, I thought, though didn't know why, how wise and well Nietzsche indicated a fact about women-

"You go to woman? Do not forget your whip!"

Today, all day long, I thought this, though didn't know why. I have tried to drive it out of my mind, hard as I have tried to, it didn't leave my mind; what is more, it has echoed in my mind all the time, all day long- "You go to woman? Do not forget your whip!" And I thought how wise he was, how wise he showed us a fact about women!

May I now get my two pennies, please?

Do I really see Aslan online or am I hallucinating?

...you are hallucinating, kaplan! I am still offline...or at least that is how I feel... :-S
...did you miss me so much you started hallucinating?

...naaaaaaah, just kidding...I am back! ...for good! lol ...and I bet that will make cyrano shiver!

...EHI!

Everyone knows that saying "Oh-I-too-miss-you-all-much-and-thus-came-back" is nothing but an excuse! The fact is that you miss nothing but my whip itself-its sound, its traces, its violence, its giving pain! To be honest with you, my whip feels the same. It misses you much. So, my friend Aslan, welcome back to it!

Ehi!
