But,it was ' İ knew that HE came by plane'

Uçakla geldiğini biliyordum .

So what is the 'n' ?

"geldiğini" has two meanings

Uçakla geldiğini biliyordum -I knew that he/she/it came by plane and I knew that you came by plane

if you separate the "geldiğini" like that;

gel-diğ-i-n-i = its mean ...... that HE/SHE/IT came

and "n" is fusion letter here

but if you separate it like that;

gel-diğ-in-i = its mean ...... that YOU came

and "in" is second singular suffix

So that you must add "senin" or "onun" before "geldiğini biliyordum"

But you can get it from context

cat of the house - evin kedisi or ev kedisi

door of the car - arabanın kapısı or araba kapısı

meal of bayram - bayram yemeği

Partiye gidenler kişiler ...the persons who went to the party

if you put "-ler" after giden,you shouldnt write the "kişiler" .Because gidenler means 'the ones who go'

so.. either "partiye gidenler" or "partiye giden kişiler"

And

The film the girl watched ... Kızın seyrettiği film

Evdik kedi ...'cat of the house'
Arabadık kapı...'door of the car'
Bayramdık yemek..'meal of bayram '

Ev,bayram and araba are noun so that you cannot put "-dık"
whole suffixes are used with verbs.

Uçakla geldiği,bildim 'i knew he came by plan'

Uçakla geldiğini biliyordum

mm maybe take a verb like "gel" and try to make sentences with those suffixes then write here for us to check it

hey dont know really it was just a suggestion lol

between i have just remembered a suffix to make adverb ;

-...-ar ...-maz

for ex ; yapAR yapMAZ geliyorum something like; I'm coming immediately when i did it.

ha bir de you put the wrong fusion letter put (n) for; dık eki-n-i

not eki-y-i

kaderimsin dont forget

Guys,i need help here,i'm still confused about dIk suffix,and its usage.

So if you can save some of your time,and try to exceplain it to me with some examples,and the differences between it and other participles such as 'An' suffix.
İt would be very much appreciated,thank you

-dik suffix is used both to make adverb and adjective

for adverb;

geldi(ğ )ini görmedim - i didn't see that you came / i didn't see that he/she/it came ( you can get it from context)

geldi(ğ )imi görmedin - you didn't see that i came (görmedin is verb and "geldiğini" is adverb)

geldi(ğ )imizi görmedin mi? - Didn't you see that we came?

geldiklerini görmedim - i didn't see that they came

güldüğünü biliyorum - i know that you are smiling / i know that he/she/it is smiling

etc..

for adjective;

tanıdık insan - the person who is known (insan is name and here "tanıdık" is adjective)

and -an suffix is used to make adjective

gülen kız - the girl who is smiling ( again kız is noun and "gülen" is adjective)

seven kişi - the one who loves

etc...

here are the suffixes to make adjective(ortaç/sıfat fiil) ;

-an , -ası , -mez , -ar , -dik , -ecek , -miş

here are the suffixes to make adverb (bağ fiil) ;

-ken , -(y)alı , -e , -madan - ince , -ip , -arak , -la , -dık , -(c)ça

here are the suffixes to make noun (isim fiil) ;

-ma , -(y)ış , -mak
