bekle-mek: to wait

bekle-n-mek: to be waited

example:

ütülenen elbiseleri tekrar ütüleme.

do not iron the clothes which were already ironed.

as far as i know, the tax amount calculated on the prices in turkey but it it not your duty. you just use the original purchase price.

you dont need to pay tax for a few item in your luggage, nobody cares it as long as it doesnt costs too much. tax is problem when you ship something. it is not a problem when you personally carry it.

for example i took 20 paint brushes each one costs 20 dollars (total is about $400 ). nobody asked or checked it.

if some officials check your luggage and asks what are they for, just say they are gifts for friends, relatives. gifts are mostly tax exempt.

if you have personally witnessed sth, use "-di" past tense.
if you havent personally witnessed sth but heard it from someone else, use "-miş" past tense.

For example:

kaza oldu.
there was an accient. (i was there, i saw it or i just came there after the accident.)

kaza olmuş. there was an accient.
(i heard that there was an accient, heard it from tv or from a friend... i havent personally see the accient or its signs afterwards.)

This film, which first debuted on the Al Jazeera Documentary channel in early 2014, follows the story of the Uighur people of the former East Turkestan, occupied by China in 1949, and renamed Xinjiang province.

It focuses primarily on the 30,000 or so Turkish-speaking Muslim Uighurs exiled in Istanbul. In this re-version, Al Jazeera English provides further context and background about the people and their predicament.

"İlk kez insanın koku alma duyusunu test etmiş olduk."

What tense is this? Is it the same if we write test etmiştik?

you can say "test ettik" instead of "test etmiş olduk"

but you cant say" test etmiştik", it has a different meaning.

tense of "test ettik" is di´li geçmiş zaman or geçmiş zamanın hikayesi.

tenses of other expressions are a little bit complicated. they are mixture of
geçmiş zamanın hikayesi (di´li geçmiş zaman) and geçmiş zamanın rivayeti (miş´li geçmiş zaman)

grammar monsters will be appeared and tell all, soon...
