half period on comma above. even if arkadaş is singular, the whole sentence is plural cus of çoğu.

instead of çok, birçok can be used. as i understand when çok used, you know all your friends well, u r talking about certain people. if u use birçok, you dont know very well all the people you are talking about.

yapmalıyım / yapmam lâzım / yapmam gerek: i must do /  should do

yapmak zorundayım / yapmam lâzım: i have to do / i (definetly) must do / i must do

first line might be an option for you but second line is an obligatory. i seperated them as much as possible. there isnt a clear limit between lines, so some expressions can be used in both.

"ellerini kır-mak" means to punish someone, to punish him severely. of course it is not literal, maybe it was once literal in middle ages.

i dont understant the languages of turkic world as a turk! i understant most of azerbaijani and a few common words from others, that´s all. most of them are as foreign as european languages to me, especially far east, far north/north-east. but if i study, i guess i will learn them in a short time cus of grammar similarity.

if you want to do something, teach some language, singing songs is just fun.
