Yeah 'Kari' is also used as wife but is quite informal compared to 'es'.
If you use the third one you're in trouble

Esim=my wife.
Esin=your wife.
Esimiz=Our wife

Nisanlim=My fiance.
Nisanlin=Your fiance.
Nisanlimiz=Our fiance.

A few examples,but I doubt you'ed encounter the third one very often

Terorist grubu hakkinda Irak'ta haber'de izledim Umarim sen iyi olacaksin.Askerlik yaptigin zaman tatilin olacak mi?biliyor musun?Umarim beni gormek icin Marmaris'e gelebileceksin,veya belki seni Marmaris'e gonderecekler,oyle olacaksa harika olur.Ben seninle konustugum zaman sanki mutlu degilsin artik,oyle mi?butun askimla.

To fertilize=Gubrelemek.
To be fruitful=Verimli olmak.
To promote=Terfi etmek.
To rub=Ovmak
To make contact=Ulasmak.
To pull a face=Surat asmak.
To get involved=Karistirilmak.
These verbs are specific to the examples that you gave.
