yeap, first of all if he is not asking for money he is not a dudu, then if he isn't putting more then 2 "askimsevgilimbitanemsin" in a sentence, then he is not a dudu,if he tries to speak in english and help u with ur turkish,if he doesn't ask u to marry him the second time u talk (or the third or the fourth) and if he isn't a waiter-tourist guide-hotel manager (lol) or anything concerning tourist industry u have a chance he is not a dudu and also if he is under 25 years old check in the myspace-type sites...If he has multible pages in different sites to "make new friends" and oddly his "friends" are all pretty girls then he is a dudu.

Very good advice . Also...he will often want to stay in Turkey NOT get a visa to live in your country

- He is going to university or has actually had a proper education.
- He doesnt talk to you much about financial problems he is in, if he is, and will certainly not wish for you to help him.

so my chances are kinda like 50-50
1.he don't ask for money - not a dudu
2.he often calls me aşkım karıcım and other stuff... - dudu??
3.he has been speaking english talking to me, and improving so far, 7 months talking to him. but he is a bad teacher - not a dudu but kinda dudu???
4.he is a barman - dudu situation... i know...
5.he is 22, but i don't think he don't have any other social network pages. - so???
6.he does want me to stay in turkey permanently, and not asking for a visa - this i'm sure not a Dudu sign
7.never ever told me of financial problems, i'm aware he has, but never into details about it... - not dudu... wow this is really helpful... got anymore?

This is a VERY good point. Much as I hate to defend the majority of Turkish men ( ) I do notice they are very proud and would not want help from you with financial problems. They are also generous and would help you financially if you needed it

Look, there's nothing wrong with calling someone 'aşkım' etc. People in love all do. But there is a difference between saying it once, twice, trying to show it and actually MEAN it, and just typing it as a habit in every text, and after declaring their undying love to their canımşekerimbebeğim ask for money and a visa.
You have to learn to draw a line. Its no problem if he works in a bar, the question is: is he planning on doing it for the rest of his life, has he got social secure plans for his money, is he just treating YOU this way or all the girls he serves a cocktail?

he lost his job before, and this is the only job he can have now. for now, he is saving money so i can come there (according to him) and he don't want me to spend. and he says he wears, in his left hand, a ring in his finger ( you probably guessed where... ) so that girls don't try to hit on him at the bar. soooo... where is my situation at? what do you think guys?
