In secret we met—
In silence I grieve
That thy heart could forget,
Thy spirit deceive.
If I should meet thee
After long years,

Bir damla süzülür yanaklarýmdan parýltýlý
Duygular durmaz yüreðimde sakin bir deniz gibi
Bir damla daha süzülür yanaklarýmdan sanki bir saðnak gibi.

Gölgeler takip etse de beni güneþ her eðildiðinde
Kaçmaya çalýþýyorum gücüm yettiðince
Dünyamý aydýnlatan güneþ deðil artýk
O muhteþem ýþýk, bana bakan gözlerinde...
