After thinking about it a little bit, I decided that Alameda had a good point when she said that my way of criticizing Islam is sometimes somewhat disrespectful. I am going to try to be more thoughtful about it... Thank you Alameda for a constructive criticism.

I think it´s very difficult to discuss sensitive subjects. If you aren´t open minded of course everything will be considered criticial.

I do believe there is a manner in which you can deliver a topic, that will create more discussions than agrguements. But people are people and those who feel like it´s a direct personal attack will always be defensive, no matter how sensitive you are to a topic here.

You are completely right! Often, some people don´t want a conversation at all, some topics are so much taboo or sacred to them and probably in their own communities they were sensitized never to discuss them. Such people will always be offended. Well... we are going to discuss all topics here really, because all people´s rights need to be respected, also those ones´ for whom discussing these topics is important.
At the same time, the language of the conversation can be chosen in a more careful way... to avoid over generalizations or personal insults.
