I actually meant "whatever gives women more reproductive freedom" is great. But of course, freedom in general is something women need more of, that of course doesn´t mean that any person can impinge on the freedom of another person. Everybody´s freedom ends when it starts to harm someone else.
Well dear, I don´t see how women´s freedom would be harming men (other then it would take away their unearned privilages). Women´s greater freedom would only stop men from manipulating and exploiting women.

Let me clarify your point about sperm banks - are you saying that because the new child won´t have a father, that makes it immoral (or something like that) and that gives you the right to interfere with these women´s choices? You know, in most families, even though there is a father physically, children often times don´t even know him and often times he only causes trouble anyway. It´s so much better to just get rid of him altogether.

Of course I´m not saying that fathers are not important, they are. But I´m saying that a child can be raised by a single parent, it can also be a single father.

I agree with Meltem and Libralady here. That he was watching porn doesn´t mean he´s a pervert, just like having a beer every now and then doesn´t make you an alcoholic.

As for sperm banks, I do appreciate their role as institutions helping people with fertility problems, yet, I´d never rate them higher than reproducing with a partner the traditional way.
