Turkishcobra - we´ve been members here for a while and I can´t count how many times similar statement came form a Turkish mouth (fingers?). But, fine, I can replace the word turkey with Canada in my post. Then it´s simply a libel (slander? I could never tell these two apart) as an act of revenge for being portrayed as having their heads cut in half in South Park lol

So, it is a problem when a Turk criticizes Americans but it is ok when a Canadian or a non-Turk does it, isn´t it?

You´re the last people to talk about equality, then! Besides, this thread is not suitable for having mutual jokes about your "distorted views" !

Ahm...I don´t follow, Turkishcobra. Why wouldn´t it be ok to criticise the US? It´s ok to criticise the US, UK, Uganda, the Pope, Mohamet, Britney Spears and The Lion King. Anybody can pass their judgement on anything. But you have to realise not everybody is going to agree with you.

Why would you think it´s not ok for a Turkish person to criticise the US? Actually many Americans criticise their country as well and nobody makes a fuss of it.

And what does it have to do with equality?

If we get back to the facts, omitting the denomination of Kurds, Turks, Muslims, Catholics etc. it is humans committing an act of violence against humans.  It is not because you are Kurd, Turk, Muslim, Catholic etc. that it is permitted to commit and act of violence against another human.  Why break down the humans into sub-categories?

10 people died.  I do not care what denomination they were, they were killed so that a point may be proven.  There are other ways to get a point across, to get recognition.  The only recognition that will be gotten from this action is that the ones who perpetrated this act of violence will be recognized as barbaric heartless killers.

Husbands, wives, brothers, sisters sons, daughters, those are what those 10 people were.

I agree that people shouldn´t be put into categories according to their differences but i´m not sure if in some circumstances that there ARE other ways of getting a point across. Sometimes there is need for drastic action to be taken for someone of "no importance" to be taken seriously. I don´t mean there is a need of killing other people but their is a need for more than just "saying what you think" these days because our governments and people of "higher importance" simply don´t listen.

It goes back years from Emily Davidson being hit by the Kings horse at the Epsom Derby to stand for the rights of women along with many other women who fought. To Men protesting against more "rights" for dad´s when it comes to custody and court proceedings. All put their thoughts on letters and made less dramatical acts of trying to be heard but they were simply ignored. Maybe if the "higher" people made more of an effort to hear them, people wouldn´t result to such drastic measures. Though unfortunately I know it won´t be for all cases, but it would count for a lot of them.
