Daha karpuz kesecektik.

Mesajı samimi buldum da yazdım, sanırım bi sorunda teşkil etmedi.
I found the message to be sincere and i wrote, thinking a question didnt form. there wasn´t a question.
Neyse sana pöfür pöfür bi gece diliyorum dostum.
Never mind, i am hoping my friend, to you a night with poof!
ben uyumayacağımdan açık cam ilen gayet mutluyum.
i am not going to sleep because i am extremely happy with the open window.
Tamam zaten eklememde çok içten bişi sorcam, ikide bir by demek temel bi içgüdü mü yoksa gerçekten bi işi var-ki bu saatte zor - yada uyumak falan mı istiyorsun?
ok, in fact, additionally, i will ask something very sincerely, in two - one to say foundation one instinct or from reality there is one secret - whom in this hour difficult - Do you want to sleep with the enemy you-know who?
i tried, but i have no idea what it means... i just tried because i want to test my skills.... and check how others translate. i think my translation should be ignored...

My attempt for the first sentence
Daha karpuz kesecektik
We were about to cut more watermelon.
Henry your literal translation is correct, i just like to explain what the person meant by saying that weird sentence;
" Daha karpuz kesecektik is a kind of joke that we say to a person [close friend] who leaves early.
Say ,we have our friend as a guest, he wanted to leave but we want him to stay longer. So we say this joke to that person. [ we havent eaten the water melon yet, we were going to cut it and have it together, why are u leaving early ? ]

my attempt
Mesajı samimi buldum da yazdım, sanırım bir sorun da teşkil etmedi.
I found the message sincere, and I also wrote, I guess it did not prove to be a problem.
Henry, I want to make a tiny bit correction if you dont mind.
The conjunction "da" here works as " because".
In other words it is like " Mesajı samimi bulduğum için yazdım "
I wrote because I found the message sincere.
----------------------------------------------------------
sorun teşkil etmek = to be counted as a problem.,to be seen as a problem.
I guess, it [my writing to you] wasnt counted as a problem by [you].
in other words;
And I guess it[my writing to you] wasnt a problem for you.

Thanks Tunci, I guessed it was a Turkish expression (idiom) that had another meaning.

I have problems with translating and understanding the next sentence
ben uyumayacağımdan açık cam ilen gayet mutluyum.
uyumayacağım = I will not sleep
açık cam = open window/clear glass
ilen = with/the one with??
gayet mutluyum = I am quite/really happy
I am really happy, I will not go to sleep because I have an open window.
Help!!! Is it because others can see what he is doing?
He´s not hiding anything?
I will not lose any sleep because I do not hide anything, and that makes me very happy???????

this makes sense. i thought this short one looked easier to translate, didn´t expect it to crry so many abstract meanings...

ben uyumayacağımdan ---> Because I will not sleep [ here the suffix "dan" is used as " because" --> I know its too much "because " Henry ]
açık cam ile gayet mutluyum ---> I am quite happy with open cam [camera]
"cam " is an abbreviation of "web cam" in net lang.
Obviously the other person is leaving the web cam conversation and she [supposedly] asks him to turn off his web cam. And he says " it is no point to turn off webcam as[because] I wont be able to go to bed [let it stay open] , I am quite happy with open webcam".

We all want to learn and improve our skills. I laugh when I see some of my poor translation attempts from earlier. Your translation attempt was useful to me too, and after all the effort involved, it is always worth posting.
1 comment, the suffix ecek + tik is a combination of future and past tense, and means - about to ....., would ....... (it is different to will, keseceğiz = we will cut)

Rica ederim Henry, But I can understand you that it must be terribly confusing when we get broken Turkish texts which consists of silly jokes,incomplete words, typing errors,wrong usage, written with poor grammar..You know chat conversations are the most difficult ones for foreign speakers to translate and make it sense. Even for us it is sometimes like a riddle.Therefore you are doing great !

Tamam zaten eklemem de çok içten bişi sorcam.
------------------------------- bir şey soracağım.
----------------------------------------------------------
Tamam = ok.
zaten = anyway
ek = appendix, addition
eklemek = to add
ekle +me [negative form in aorist tense] + m [person] = I dont add, I wont add, I wouldnt add.
de = another function of "de" here works as "but"
çok içten = in this case it is " very sincerly", "honestly"
bir şey = a thing, something
soracağım = I will ask
----------------------------------------------------------
Ok. I wouldnt add [you --->guessing, it could also be somebody else ] anyway, but sincerely [honestly] I will ask you something ´

And the last sentence is also too complex for me
Tamam zaten eklememde çok içten bişi sorcam, ikide bir by demek temel bi içgüdü mü yoksa gerçekten bi işi var-ki bu saatte zor - yada uyumak falan mı istiyorsun?
Tamam - ok
zaten eklemem de
- besides, I can´t add also/because won´t add (you?) but
çok içten birşey soracağım,
- I will ask something very sincere
ikide bir by demek temel bi içgüdü mü
- is it both .......???????
yoksa gerçekten bir işi var
- or truly he/she has a job
ki bu saatte zor
- that is difficult at this time
yada uyumak falan mı istiyorsun? -
or do you want to sleep or (do) something (else)?

by demek ---> Saying bye
temel bir içgüdü mü --> is [it] a basic instinct ?
yoksa gerçekten bir işi var ---> or she really has some work to do
-ki bu saatte zor - --> which [that] is difficult at this time
ya da uyumak falan mı istiyorsun ? --> or do you want to go to bed or what ?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is saying "byee" every two seconds a basic instinct ? Or she really has some work to do-which is difficult [slight possibility] at this time [of the night]- or do you want to go to bed or what ?

The way this clip is tied to the non-linguistic context makes it extremely difficult. I would have given up. You are one persistent person also, Henry.

My problem is that I get encouraged when I think I can translate the easy sentences. Then the harder bits become a challenge for me, a bit like ´homework´. Eventually I realise I am struggling and need an expert to help.
I laughed when Tunci explained cam = camera.
How simple was that!!!!
There I was, trying to decide between glass and window for a translation.
("There I was" sounds weird, but is an expression we use)

Hocam, first time I heard that word cam I was not sure what that person was talking about as he pronounced it as cam (=glass) in Turkish but not kem.. camını açtı (she opened the window) had not made sense to me till I figured out that cam was cam(era)! And I was pretty sure that that person didn´t know it was an English word

Thank you very much for your help, I understood everything but I want to be clear about one thing.
"ben uyumayacağımdan açık cam ilen gayet mutluyum."
Does this mean that the person writing this was very happy to leave the webcam open so he didn´t want to sleep? Can someone clarify for me please?
My understanding (after reading Tunci´s explanation) is :
He was quite [not ´very´] happy to leave the webcam on, because he was not going to bed.
