Just forget about it. Holiday romances do not work.

Sorry, went to bed. Oh and I was referring to Islam. Oh and please remeber that I quoted that and it wasn't my own opinion.
"In Islam, a woman cannot marry one of another religion as it is known for women to follow the religion of their husbands."

so it means any woman outside from islam must follow her muslim husbands religion?
btw, your father is arab and mother english?

No, I was saying that it means that women INSIDE of Islam cannot marry men OUTSIDE of Islam because it is "known" that women follow the religion of their husbands. Therefore a man who marry's a woman OUTSIDE of islam is allowed because there is more of a chance of her becoming a Muslim and following their husbands religion.
And yes my mother is British and my father Yemenite, so what?

Well this is generalized as well. One of my closest friends in Turkey is a 24 year young woman, who met her fiancee about 4 years ago in a holiday in Kuşadası. They are now happily engaged and will get married as soon as both families can come to the same country.

make it clear, laila, learn to make yourself clear.
so women in islam follow the faith of their parents NOT husbands! if a muslim woman marries a non-muslim does she follow then her husbands religion? think before you write!

so islam is so much UNFAIR towards women!
it treats women as machines to produce more muslims. watch this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8fa9yKQeTY

i think your father is fullfilling his religious duties, a?

Moderators why don't you take action against this person when she disparages all Muslims openly, in a public forum.

Why didn't you join the war in Iraq on the side of the US troops femme. You would have a chance to spit on their holy book.
