I wanted to translate it like that, because that is the literal one from the Dutch. But then I got confused to what it meant in Dutch and if it was possible to say it like that in English so I altered my trnaslation a wee bit

But apparantly its exactly the same

I wonder if the second refers to a Dutch one, that says 'Many hands make an easy job'. i.e. if many people work together, it's not as hard as when you would do it alone.

But I dont know if there is an English equivalent to that.

I dont know about Lithuania, it could be easier there than for countries such as The Netherlands. You could give it a try by sending him an official invitation letter, stating you are responsible for all financial things, that is, ofcourse, if you are 100% sure you can trust him

And maybe taking a special train-tour could make obtaining a visa easier.
