That`s nice. It was me who was being inconsiderate if Delikizin is right. That`s quite true indeed, besides Uzeyir is an aristocrat who has grown up in the Bursa palace, so it`s normal for him to trash building contractors` wives.

I'm always right

See Üzye, this is why you have to pick your words more carefully

Can somebody tell me the origine of all the words used here? Atatürk said this is one of his speeches and for my essay it is relevant to know how many words of this sentence are Turkish, Arabic or Persian.

Türk milleti demek Türk dili demektir. Türk dili, Türk milleti için kutsal bir hazinedir. (...) Türk dili Türk milletinin kalbidir, zihnidir

Who has been inconsiderate?

I think he is referring to the post which states that Bursa isn't anything interesting apart from Uludağ. That clearly was his weak spot, being born and raised in the first capital of the Ottoman Empire But, he is right. Bursa needs to get more credit!

I see, but an opinion of somewhere is not really being inconsiderate.

Quoting lady in red:

My husband was in the building trade and I wasn't offended by Uzeyir's post - really didn't bother me .

I was more offended by this comment made in January by a Turkish tc member: 'You need to know at least three languages as a really cultured person in this life...' - which would imply that around 98% of Great Britain are 'really uncultured' when the truth is most of us are just too damn lazy to bother because the whole world speaks English lol

If you're talking to Üzye, you should say bovered

I wasn't offended either, I was more saying he should be more careful about putting the things the way he put them.. I know he never intended to say such a thing, but he said it anyway. That was my entire point

And I remember that useless post too But I wasnt offended I was very flattered to be highly cultured lol lol

Quoting Daydreamer:

I have no idea how much people make in the Netherlands, but I bet it's not really "a little" for them since they do it. Let's be honest, apart from hard-working immigrants, there's a lot of guys who act like they were from the outer space - 10 people living in one house, eating cheapest food and drinking till they drop each weekend. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw some like that here. They deserved this song Plus, treat the money the Dutch guys make on it as a compensation

Ok ok You win I'm just immigrant-friendly

right, especially when she equates progress with prostitution and drugs. lol

I never did that But at least people here are given a free choice, and that is progress to me.
