Quoting tamikidakika:

well, in this case your being a Dutch Turk doesn`t make any difference because I was talking about the westerners in general.

If you are talking about the westerners in general, then what is the difference between you and me:

Me, a Turk who lives in the Netherlands.
You, a Turk who lives in the States.

Aren't we both Turk and both Westerners then? And if there is no difference, what were you trying to say in your post?

Is there a connection between me and pathetic Wilders, just because we turn out to live on the same soil? To me it sounded like that's what you are saying. In that case, you and Bush must have a connection too?

This is how the dirty western-christian propaganda works.

I wouldnt call it western-christian propaganda.. But it sure is anti-Islam propaganda in the worst way

Quoting tamikidakika:

but this doesn`t make you stop you calling yourself civilized and us uncivilized.

Who is YOU and who is US. And who was talking about that?

Quoting tamikidakika:

So Delikizin or whatever, are you from Holland???

Does it really matter where I am from? But yes, I currently live in the Netherlands.

Quoting tamikidakika:

Have you ever been treated like a dog in Turkey for being Dutch? If you had been, you would call us uncivilized for sure.

Not like a dog, but I did have some unpleasant harassments because I came form west europe. However, I think Turkey is far from being uncivilized. For a new member, you seem to know much about my thoughts upon Turkey? Has it occurred to you I may be a Hollandalı Türk?

Quoting tamikidakika:

( did I mention that he looks disgusting )

+1 Totally agree with you.

He is one of the persons who stayed in puberty too long

Wow, this is really fantastic! I'm curious whether there were any negative comments from the Turkish/religious community in Holland or any violence... Really, great news and sounds like a great event!

I haven't heard of any yet.. Will ask my Turkish friends at uni if they have heard something.

I totally LOVE gaybars in the Netherlands. I hate the fact that (in general) homosexuals are more sensual to each other in nightlife (you can see a huge difference in 'physical contact' in a straight club and a gay club), but apart from that, everybody is friends with everybody and they play the best music

You could try www.flypgs.com too, see if they have cheaper planetickets.

Thanks Guys, Are we talking from Sabiha Gökçen or Ataturk airport? Speed will be of the essence, if I decide to visit, as I will want to pack in a lot!!

By bus: Sabiha Gökçen is closer to Ankara than Atatürk Airport I suppose.

For plane, it doesnt really matter. And for both trips Atatürk-Ankara, Sabiha-Ankara, either by bus or plane, there wont be a significant price difference.

I better start doing my homework then! 10 hours by bus? I guess you go round all the villages!!! lol

Nooo 10 hours is from Istanbul to Izmir.. it is less to Ankara.. If I remember well it is 5/6 hours? Not sure about that though.

Depending on how much money you have to spend, I would find a domestic flight on a good time.

I think there is a slight difference.. but we should wait for Erdinç or Caliptrix to explain İ guess!

When I read it, binmiş olduğu, sounds more in the past and a more finished action, than the first sentence. But I dont know really..

well like i say the cheapest is in GBP and its £68 and the most expensive is £150 all depends on when you travel.

Really? Well I always buy it from the TR website, that could make a difference as well, maybe?

I have to say, I drive fast, and I have never made it from Ist to Ankara in 3 hours. I'd say closer to 4 hours. I hate taking the bus, I suggest finding a cheap flight.

My dayı travels it often and he is always back home in about 3 hours.. But I have to admit Kadir's family doesnt live in the centre of Ankara I guess, that could make a big difference as well.

As a student I always went by bus.. the price difference between a busticket and a planeticket is pretty big. But last time I really couldnt be bothered to sit in a bus for 10 hours and did buy a domestic flight, which cost ms 99YTL with THY.
