Quoting ramayan:

these murderers may call themselves as 'muslim' but when we search about islam and its background..these kind of nonsense things,to get revenge,to kill a human being even a harmless instects are strictly forbidden...

so, they are not muslim and i claim that they are also not a human being

especially uneducated, illeteral old parents suporting them..(

I don't think any of the sophisticated people on this site would link it with the 'real Islam' I really do understand why the Western world has come to fear the Islam so much. So many bombings, so many people died, an enormous 'anti-western' feeling that has come up, all in the name of Allah. But it hasn't come to my mind for even one second, that these people are worth to call themselves 'Muslim'.

I think religion can do two things with people: it brings either the bad or the good up in them. It depends on how you fill in your daily life and what your own character is. So when you kill someone in the name of Allah, this is not because of your religion, but it is because of the way religion is changing you inside. And i think that weak people, searching for power, easily get their bad side brought up with religion. Killing in the name of Allah, God etc, is just a 'bahane' for your weakness in your hunger for power.

Does anybody know whether TeomaN covered Zerrin's song, or that Zerrin covered his? Hers sounds much older, but i also thought it really matched TeomaN.

None the original one belongs to Orhan Atasoy, and I think his was the best (and the clip), but I think Teoman made it more famous.

Hehe ok! I'll search for it straight away! Thanks

Nothing is booked and sure yet, but definitely Türkiye and maybe first to England and then to Türkiye. Depends on my Nana's health and my student-visa.

I'll probably be going to Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. But for me it is more a matter when does the holiday start, and when will it become daily life

Anybody planning to come to Holland this summer? And who will be in Izmir, in july-august? (or later)

Here is the definition for marriage: legal relationship between spouses.

But for the symbolic meaning of marriage, what it means to the persons who are in it.. only they understand. And that is exactly why they got married.

Perhaps 'understand' was the wrong choice of word - maybe 'make sense of' would have been more explicit

Hehe i'll still stick to what i said.. if those kinda things start to make sense to you, something really is going wrong in the world.

I wasn't trying to be pickin on ur words though Just telling you not to feel sorry for not understanding/thinking it doesn't make sense

Click here for a picture of the Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam, Holland.

The picture is the cover of a photography book that the uncle of one of my close friends has made He is a photographer who mainly makes photos in Rotterdam.

I really love the Erasmusbrug myself, especially at night or on a bright day when the water of the Maas twinkles.

What a world we live in - sometimes so hard to understand why and how such things can happen :-S

It's a good thing you do not understand it. And if you are pure-hearted and logical, the harder you will try to understand such things, the less you will understand. So be glad you do not understand..
