Yes, but you probably went to the adult section for language-learning, right? Here in Holland they also only have such books. But if you go ask at the help-service in your library, they might have more than you think.

Our library, which is definitely not an extremely big one or anything, offers books in many languages. From Dutch to English, from Turkish to Swedish. In Turkish there are even translated Danielle Steel's and Qur'ans. In the children department are books from Disney, but also fairytales, comics, Barbie or Harry Potter.

Maybe we have them because there are many Turkish people in Holland. I don't know about England.. But i think any bigger library should have those?

Next academic year i can be of more help I hope to write my own little stories by then.

Well i dont know about UK, but try the library. In our library (Holland), at the children's department, they also have foreign languages books. We even have Harry Potter in Turkish here! I took 2 children's books, meant for 7-aged to read themselves and for 4-aged to be read. It's still too difficult for me But i made vocabulary lists for each page. I will study those and then try to read again so that i can also get used to the basic word-order and sentence-construction.

So if i were you, I'd take a look in the library and ask for Turkish childrensbooks. There are many Turkish newspapers on the internet. A while ago i bought myself a Hürriyet. I know this is not a childrensnewspaper, but i found it quite easy, at least the little articles

No.. im interested in languages and culture, so that will be my study But my problem is, i cannot go to that exam, because on that day that YÖS is taken, i have exams in Holland , final exams! So there's my problem.

I was hoping that this course wont ask for such an exam because it is only preperation and not academic course.

çk tsk ederim!!!! Those courses in your own university, do they ask for an entrance-exam? (such as YÖS?) Or are they without an entrance exam until you start your real education at university?

Programımız Hakkında:
Enstitümüzün kuruluşundan itibaren verilmeye başlanan Türkçe kurslarında başta Türk Dünyası Devlet ve Toplulukları olmak üzere, dünyanın 88 ayrı ülkesinden binlerce öğrenciye Türkçe eğitimi verilmiştir. Bu ülkeler arasında Türkiye'ye oldukça uzak olan Yeni Gine, Jibuti, Kostarika Burma, Yeni Zellanda, Brezilya, Avusturalya vb.ülkelerin bulunması enstitümüzdeki Türkçe kurslarının kalitesini açıkça göstermektedir. 1993 yılında Milli Savunma Bakanlığı ve Dış İşleri Bakanlığı ile yapılan protokol gereği bir çok subay ve diplomata Türkçe öğretilmiş olması dikkate değerdir. Üç dönem olarak düzenlenen kursların her biri 10 hafta sürmektedir. 2001 Kış dönemi itibari ile enstitümüzde 15 ülkeden çok sayıda öğrenci Türkçe öğrenimlerini sürdürmektedir.

Programın Süresi:
Programımız yıllık toplam 840 saattir. Her yıl 3 dönem halinde, her dönem 10 hafta olmak üzere düzenlenmiştir.
1. Dönem: Ekim-Aralık
2. Dönem: Ocak-Nisan
3. Dönem: Nisan-Haziran

Gerekli öğrenci sayısına ulaşıldığında dördüncü dönem olarak Ağustos- Eylül ayları arasında Yaz Kursları açılmaktadır.


Programın Ãœcreti:
Programın dönemlik ücreti 300 USD olarak belirlenmiştir. Kurs ücretine kurs kitapları dahil değildir.

Ders Saatleri:
Ders saatleri haftaiçi 8:30-16:30 saatleri arasında haftada 4 saati laboratuvar olmak üzere toplam 26 ders saatidir. (50 dakika)

Vize İşlemleri:
T.C. Vize işlemlerinde gerekli olabilecek yazışmaları Enstitümüz sağlamaktadır.
Öğrencilerimizin öğrenci vizesi şerhiyle gelmeleri gerekmektedir. Önceden başvurmaları halinde Geçici Kayıt belgesi kendilerine gönderilmektedir. (Bu durumda geçici kayıt ücreti olarak $50 avans alınmaktadır)

Konaklama ve Yemek:
Öğrencilerimiz, diledikleri takdirde Ege Ãœniversitesi Misafirhanesinde kalabilirler. Ãœniversite misafirhanesinden derslerin yapıldığı birimlere yürüyerek sadece 10 dakikada ulaşabilirsiniz.
Öğrencilerimiz üniversitemiz bünyesindeki yemekhanelerden yararlanabilirler.
