Bayezid Camii (Bayezid Mosque)
Bayezid Mosque was commissioned by Bayezid II, the sultan of the Ottoman Empire from 1481 to 1512, and it is located in the Bayezid Square. Bayezid Mosque construction started in 1501 and was completed 1506 by the architect Yakub Sah bin Sultan Sah in Istanbul, Turkey.
Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Camii (Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque)
The Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque, also known as the Aksaray Valide Mosque, is an Ottoman imperial mosque in Istanbul, Turkey. It is located at the intersection of Ordu Caddesi and Atatürk Bulvarı in the Aksaray neighbourhood. Pertevniyal Valide Sultan Mosque was designed by the Italian architect Montani, and was completed in 1871 for the Valide Sultan Pertevniyel, wife of Sultan Mahmud II and mother of Sultan Abdülaziz. The construction work began in November 1869 and the mosque was finished in 1871. The building is a mixture of Moorish, Turkish, Gothic, Renaissance and Empire styles combined into what one author has described as a tasteless garish rococo hodgepodge.
Laleli Camii(Laleli Mosque)
The Laleli Mosque was built by Sultan Mustafa III from 1760–1763, designed in the baroque style by Ottoman imperial architect Mehmet Tahir Ağa. The complex was destroyed by a fire in 1783 shortly after its completion and was immediately rebuilt. A fire in 1911 destroyed the madrasa, and subsequent road construction work destroyed many other the auxiliary structures to the mosque. It is located in Laleli, Istanbul.
