The point to my post was not to defend one side or the other but to simply point out that if people put as much energy into doing good as they did in pointing out who is right and who is wrong, insulting eachother or provoking people ect....I think the world might be a better place.  Everyone deserves respect....not just religious people or athiest or agnostics.  Just having a hard time understanding why people can´t just be nice to eachother.  I know that depicting Mohammed would insult muslim people, so I would never dream of doing it....Do I have a right to?  Sure, but it is more important to me to protect the feelings of fellow humans that to exercise my right to free speech.

Bravo Elisabeth....very well put.  {#emotions_dlg.flowers}

I support free speech...but why, WHY....would somebody purposely inflame the muslim world?  Why do people INSIST that insulting someone is a freedom of expression.  On the other hand, this cartoon brought home the very point the cartoonist was trying to make - that there are some people who are so crazily blinded by religion that they would actually kill someone over a cartoon.  It seems to me that everyone has a lot of time on their hands to inflame, insult, get angry, plan an assassination...blah, blah...why not put ALL THIS ENERGY into making the world a better place, instead of the cespool of raw emotion that it has become?

Well said Elisabeth......{#emotions_dlg.flowers}

Why....maybe to boost their sense of importance....maybe because they want attention?  Maybe they are stupid and insensitive?

Ha! I would only share all of my stories for money Perhaps get some cash out of my Turkish disasters I´m such an angel (no really) but the times that I have been into contact with the Turkish police is just crazy...and does this column lady have any columns about how she ended up in a Turkish police-cell? NO... I do, I´m so cool Does she have any columns about how she ended up in a sort of prostitute hotel? No... I do.. not too proud of that one though {#emotions_dlg.shy} I blame the taxi-driver for taking us there... And yes I also have stories about my in-laws, but they are not that negative...although I did get food poisining from my aunt-in-laws chicken... wonder if that was on purpose... Nobody else had the chicken except for me... Mmmm... now I´m starting to wonder if she DID try to kill me {#emotions_dlg.scared}

Oh my....do tell! You seem to have had some really "interesting adventures".  If you hope to get money from here, think again, it´s volunteer work.  You should write some things up and submit them someplace....(?)...where I don´t know.  Getting money for writing is NOT easy. If you are famous, people give big money and you get help with a ghost writer.

Maybe if you tell your stories you will get famous and people will ask for more and pay you?

As for the chicken, that is one of the more dangerous things to eat, it spoils very fast if not stored properly.  I always treat chicken like a deadly poison.....only one board to cut it on, sterlize everything that came in contact with it.  It doesn´t take long or much bad chicken to really make you ill.  Even then if some of the raw chicken juice comes in contact with something else that contaminates something else, like salad....you can get very sick.

You brought up some relevant points.  I once knew a elderly unattractive woman.  It was doubtful she ever was very attractive at any point i her life.  I bring her up because she told me she wished she could have been able to make money from sex.....but she was never a candidate for that.  She never had the choice.  I wonder, if she had been attractive, what her choice would have been? She was poor, and felt being a prostitute would improve her life.

I had a student once who became a topless/lap dancer to make money.  She saved her money and started a very successful business. I don´t know how she could have dealt with it so well, but she seems to have done well with the situation.  Last I saw of her, she was married and had a couple of children. Most don´t fare so well, they come out with very deep scars.  I knew another who did not come out so well, she committed suicide.  Most have a very difficult time dealing with the dehumanization and objectification and consequently the use of drugs is high among sex workers.

I have no problem with the Gypsies. I might as well use the example of a Black boy growing up in notorious Harlem as has been done by many artists, singers etc.

What is implied here is the need for improving a skill in the absence of a other choices.

As long as you can not present what can be called a more ethical alternative to millions of young people who are forced economically to enter the porn industry you must not complain of the industry itself. Since it actually serves as a last resort to make up for society´s failing ends.

There are probably four kinds of females in the porn industry.

* Those economically forced to enter

* Those considering it as a golden key to a luxourious life.

* Those who are addicted to sex

* Those who are physically forced to enter.

Liz, I´d suggest you meet this man in person before getting so serious.  While you can get to know someone to some degree online, it is nothing compared with real life in the flesh experience.

You don´t know what he actually looks like, how he smells, how he moves, how he uses his eyes, how he eats....and so many other things....and he doesn´t know those same things about you.

We tend to fill with what we like and want when given the opportunity....as for age differences...it depends on the people. I know some marriages with large age differences that have worked out, and some that have not.

Another thing you have not mentioned is how your grown children feel about this relationship. Have you discussed this with them?

If you already have grown children, do you really want to have babies all over again. You are not as young as you were and having children is not easy.

As for the virgin issue, at your stage in live and with grown children, nobody would expect that of you.  Sorry if I sound hard on you....good luck

Or maybe they deliberately choose not to be anonymous as they´ve got no secret agenda. I uploaded my personal photo because I´ve been here long enough to feel part of this site´s history {#emotions_dlg.holy}. I feel better talking to people when I know what they look like, it makes the conversation more personal. Some people are here to troll, some to spam, and I´m here to have fun with friends and learn more Turkish. If you don´t like the fact that some people feel confident enough to show their real face, it´s your problem, just like jumping to conclusions apparently...{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

Hey everyone has their own motives.....I don´t choose to disclose my face or gender....no special motive...I just prefer to be pure mind devoid of any of the other trappings of regular life.  My gender, face are not the issue...but it´s nice to see your face....however tiny it is in the photo.....lol

 Yes it does.

What is ÖTV? At least you guys have a very good public transportation system.  Only in NYC is there a good transportation system.  Most of the country you must have an automobile to get around.  With no automobile your choices of employment, education or shopping are very limited.

The SF Bay area is pretty good in public transportation, but very slow next to the one in NY.

FWIW....the price of a gallon of gas here is about 3. USD............but when you compare the reality of the situation, we have to have automobiles and drive, you don´t.
