(i have had very little experience in marking other's work although i believe this essay is now perfect hehe im glad that i could help you...)

İstanbul, which has a population of twelve million, is the biggest city in Turkey and one of the very few cities all over the world. This historical city always was the apple of great empires’ eyes. İstanbul that was capital of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman Empires and is important in numerous aspects. Some of them; it connects the two continents; Asia and Europe, is the only alternative to reach the Aegean Sea and the Meditteranean Sea, crucial trade and economic center, its geopolitics and strategic position.

This historical peninsula wasn’t only capital of the empires , but also center of different religions. By Fatih Sultan Mehmed conquered here, its religious identity changed completely. The former architectural structures was altered by using islamic elements. Besides, i suppose that there is no need to say that İstanbul is the only city which changed age by conquering.

The city is both the nearest Asian city to Europe and the nearest European city to Asia. Whilst walking on istiklal or bagdat streets, it can be felt as a European city.
There are several important places in İstanbul including; the best universities of Turkey, many historical structures such as Topkapı Palace, Dolmabahçe Palace, Ayasofya Mosque, Kız Kulesi (Maiden's tower), Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque), Beylerbeyi Palace, Kariye Museum, Suleymaniye Mosque, Rumelian and Anatolian fortress… and Bosphorus. Also, İstanbul is the best place for shopping, amusement and commerce.

It is not surprising to see people who are from different origins here. There are various types of transportation available, *i want to continue to tell about airways, subway and other transportation systems are available*

In this very crowded and active city, everybody lives his/her own life, even disappearing is possible. Mosques and churchs are also very local.

However, it is certain that the Ottoman appearance with İslamic elements is the most befitting to İstanbul.

Wherever one lives or whenever one comes here, İstanbul remains attractive and stays in one's mind; it is unforgettable.

"benim gülümsün... çok seviyorum sni, a?kmmmm... hehe...

Does this translate to..."my rose, most beloved. loooooove...ohhhh..."?

do you speak english? ingilizce biliyor musunuz? is that correct

yeah that means "do u know english" lit. although that would be used... it is also the formal/plural way again.. to informai-ize it remove the "uz"

how do you say - how is your english?

ingilizcen nasıl?

ingilizce ogreniyoruz? - does that mean are you learning english?

it means "we are learning english"

how do you say ... i teach english

(ben) ingilizce öğretirim
