Hey, my mom calls my dad her "teddy bear". Why is that rude?

"ayı" is said to people who do not know any courtesy rules, who are rude, uncivilized people.

But you can make it sound cuter by saying "ayıcığım", "my dear bear", then I´ve heard of it a few times usually when the man is a bit fat, but öhöhö I don´t think all will be happy to hear it.

ayım - my bear ????
lol

Only for ´special´ lovers, mltm!

No, I mean, it is not in the list as "bear" that we know, but as "my moon", but the thing is in turkish the two is the same, and I haven´t heard of it personally because when a lover calls the other "ayım", it will definitely be understood like my bear which is a rude thing.

Shoes are always removed in my house whether or not it is for one of my husband´s (who is Turkish) business associates or not. Of course I should probably be quiet as I am completely ignorant on the subject.

I was just trying to give the guy some general advice. Sorry if this offended you mltm.

No, it didn´t offend me at all. Why should it?

I just told you that you may not know it.
In fact, it´s delicate to be able to determine where it is better to ask removing your shoes, where not.
For him, it´s better to observe the other guests and see what they are doing, because in a classy dinner at a house, it´s a funny scene when you´re left with your socks and slippers.

5th one should be "Parlayan bir yıldızım",
Otherwise, "parlayan yıldızım" means "my shining star"

Thanks, I wasn´t sure myself. Appreciate you making the difference clear.

You´re welcome

"Terledikten sonra suyu içersen hasta olabilirsin"

The second error might be a bit hard to spot.
In fact, it´s the similar logic with the "forum kuralları" and "forumun kuralları"

Not i but ı undotted

Where?

And no. There´s no problem with "i"s.

why are you always so paranoid that i dont love you anymore.the excitement will never be over between us.i told you before my love for you will not be for days, weeks, months it will be for a lifetime
