Quoting tenmadison:

can you explain verebilmem

If you are just a beginner, it´s a bit hard word construction.

verebilmek: to be able to give
verebilme: being able to give (now this is a noun)
verebilme + m = my being able to give

But if we say it in english, it will correcpond to this:
verebilmem için = "for me to be able to give"
or "so that I can give"

(verebilme + n = your being able to give
verebilme + niz = your (plural) being able to give)

Never!

He said he´s going to İstanbul for business, not for a family visit. If you take your shoes off when you´re in your suit, it will be very inappropriate.

They were JOKING, it was a JOKE - not a ´low-level discussion´. How do you not get this mltm? Or are we misinterpreting you and your comments are all tongue-in-cheek too?

That´s what I see it as, too. As joking.

Anyway, I don´t like non-ending, unproductive discussions, but to finish I´m not the only one who thinks like this.

Why is it that you pick this subject but say nothing about keith´s antics today, which were FAR more offensive????

Because it´s a matter between the mods and admins. We won´t deal with it in the public.

Ofcourse it´s ok to talk about everything including internet porn, female circumcision, burkas, or the closure of AKP etc, but if it comes to a level like, "ohh, we can include Tayyip Erdoğan into our man farm, he´s not so hairy, but not Abdullah Gül" (just an example), then it makes the difference.
Then, searching in the user pictures to find people for your fun, what will be the next? Can´t you just see it?
Is it so difficult to get the difference?
