Just so you know, I supported the "e-coup" also. And I am not the only Hurriyet reader that finds it disgusting that he was forced out.
yes, there are others who criticize tayyip in print, but none bigger. The AK Parti is making an example of him to scare other writers.

you supported e-coup? did you ever read about post-modern coup in 1997? and the one in 1980? for god's sake dont you ever read books about 20 th century in Turkey? i bet you would be happy in Cuba or somehere like that. but in turkey.. there are somethings stronger than army..like people..like parliemant.

Erdogan is PM, interim-president is (I think) still Sezer and Gül is candidate for presidency.

Actually, I like Gül. I think he is a good man. I wonder what Yaşar thinks about him?

Because I dont want ny AK Parti member to be president...
Their agenda is not in line with the constitution and they will try to change it.

you contradict yourself. you say you like Gul but you dont want him to be president just becasue he is member of AK party.. then can you tell me why you like him..becasue he looks like George Clooney?

and current constitution was made just after 1980 coup by the generals and their dear gentlemen of the robe. so it has to change anyway if we want to be a member of EU.
