Because it sounds exactly my previous deleted post which was not politically correct. In which I said or called nothing racist but reflected my thoughts. I stated facts about Gypsies. They do live the way I described them. They wonder from one place to another according to their tradition.

I know a person who deals with people like gypsies. in official terms they are called "travellers". Her duties are to support Gypsies and their children financially and educationally.

If what I said was not true then this lady shouldnt have a job for which gov pays and the gov pays for accommadation of Gypsies.

There were cases when Gypsies from Eastern Europe acted like refugges and asked for a shelter  in UK. They received council houses. and then they gave for rent the houses to other eastern europeans.

Lemon.. you did not just say that gypsies are travellers, you said "they steal, they cheat, they con, not stable, you cant trust them, they are not hygienic, etc etc. and you wonder why the whole world have prejudice against them."

I´m sorry that I had to quote this again, but I hope it´s clear now that this is not the same as what armegon said.

 I think it is more important one´s mind to be hygienic than one´s body to be hygienic. How can a person insult a nation, curse science and expect us to respect his ideas? I prefer to be killed in front of my computer by an atomic bomb to live in middle ages with racist people who hates science. Science is my soul. I don´t want to live without a soul.

And you tell me that I said lies about gypsies or at least the majority of them? what part is racist?

My friend travelled to Romania. He was warned to keep an eye on his belongings. But he being positive-minded didnt care. what happent to him happent. the explanation he was given "your own fault, you were supposed to watch your belongings". Thats all!!!

I dont love science, neither I hate it. I dont worship science as you do.

I prefer to be considered as racist or backward or anything than to pretend in order to please people who dream that science will make humanity happy. God keep me away from that happiness if it happens.

You talk as if I am intending to take your soul or forbid you from being a scientist! what a nonsense! what a fantasy!

I think the problem is that if you state negative generalizations about the entire group of people and make it sound like these are their innate qualities (without any effect of the environment), this may give an impression that that entire group/nation is in some way less human, which gives justification to dehumanization and bad/racist treatment or unprovoked aggression towards that group by racist elements from other groups.

I don´t think you are lying and I don´t think that your intention was racist. I thought (with other moderators) that the statement was racist, whether you intended it that way or not.

I don´t know any gypsies personally, but it may well be true what you have said - that majority of gypsies live the way you described - nonetheless, I think that you should have mentioned that there probably are gypsies who do not fit the stereotype (statistically this has to be the case, even if you don´t know any personally) or provided explanation as to what could have driven these people to act in these bad ways when you state this in a public place.

Where these belongings stolen by gypsies? It sounds kind of strange that somebody would stand by to see people stealing your belongings. And if he saw people steal his belongings, he would see that they were gypsies from "their eyes" right?  Come on, saying stuff like Turks can see from their eyes of they are gypsies is just crazy. There are enough gypsies in Holland too. But when you cross the border here, people don´t warn you for the gypsies. They are probably to busy to warn you for Turks right?

It´s hard to prove somebody wrong if the proof he uses doesn´t even slightly prove his own point... Yes, think about it

You can find racist comments about every nation in every time. I read recently Giosophat Barbaro (1413 - 1494)´s book named Anadolu´ya ve İran´a Seyahat ( A trip to Anatolia and Persia). I found a comment of a Tatar about circassians. My ancestors are circassians. The comment made me smile. I am not offended by it. Here is the comment:

"Ne güzel,Çerkesler erkek değil, kadın gibidirler, gelin gidip onları yakalayalım" (How good! Circassians are not like men, they are like women.Let´s go and catch them)

So you see everbody says something about someone in every time. So si++ and armegon please don´t mind stupid comments about Turks and do like me only smile.

Lemon i don´t want to live in a world without science. You say you have bad exprencies about Gypsies. But maybe somewhere someone feels same thing about a person from your country. So he blames all of your people based on a bad exprience. Can you accept it? You say majority of gypsies are that way. With how many gypsies have you met? 10 or 20 or even 100 isn´t enough to make a decision. Because a bad enviroment can effect most of people who live there badly. In another enviroment you can find different people who are from same ethnicity. So don´t judge quickly.

My generalization is based upon the behaviour of 80-90% of gypsies. Judge it yourself.

You generalize Turks on the same principle. In that case you have to go back and delete your own posts.

Thank you for acknowledging my intentions. God created Gypsies as He created me, so we all stand equal in His eyes no matter what ethnicity we come from.

When I state anything about anything I state what I know and what I saw. I dont have to give any explanation or justification. I dont have to sugar-coat in order to satisfy eyes of readers.
