You dont understand me and you will not, because there is a huge gap between me and you. I live and breathe in Grace, a pure gift. You cant buy it, you cant get it by your desire. You will get it when the Lord touches you. Its called Grace. You hate God because your spirit is dead. You seek this life when it is already lost. Whatever you have be it money, knowledge, love, friends, family, believe me you will have it for another 20-30 years. You will not be able to take it with you. Everything will pass away, perish in this world. Everything is destroyable in this world. I tell this not because I am better than you but because I was given a gift of Grace.

Quoting Daydreamer

I just wanted to say that I, too, have the book that inspires me and is my guide in life. I took the liberty of quoting just a tiny bit, so that I can show off as well

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-eight million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn´t the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.

And so the problem remained; lots of the people were mean, and most of them were miserable, even the ones with digital watches.

Many were increasingly of the opinion that they´d all made a big mistake in coming down from the trees in the first place. And some said that even the trees had been a bad move, and no one should ever have left the oceans.

And then, one Thursday, nearly two thousand years after one man had been nailed to a tree for saying how great it would be to be nice to people for a change, a girl sitting on her own in a small cafe in Rickmansworth suddenly realised what it was that had been going wrong all this time, and she finally knew how the world could be made a good and happy place. This time it was right, it would work and no one would have to get nailed to anything.

Sadly, however, before she could get to a phone to tell anyone about it, a terrible, stupid catastrophe occurred, and the idea was lost forever."

/D. Adams, "The Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Universe"

I have read it with a great interest to KNOW ´where I am coming from and where I am heading to´

From "utterly insignificant little blue-green planet to unregarded yellow sun"?

Well that sounds more cheerful than the other posts..

Thanks DD

"Nice" story. This world can never be a good and happy place. We humans are no good. We are destructive selfish and mean.

Lisa, what are you gonna do with the rest of the holy book? ignore and have fun? Every single prophet sent by God spoke of mainly wrath and coming punishment. Check that out yourself. None of them said: enjoy, relax.

I understand that I make an impression of self-righteous rebuker. Believe me I am not speaking from me. Jesus never said: I have forgiven you, now go on continue your fun. Jesus is not a joker and never had fun. His messages never contained fun or joke. He constantly and continously taught and rebuked sometimes with love and sometimes with wrath. He was radical and rebuked religious self-rightous jews (who put their faith in their own goodness and kindness). There was no tolerance in his message.

Ok...I respect your view, lemons, but couldn´t disagree more.  I am officially turning the other cheek.

I didnt expect a respect. My goal is not to win the discussion. My goal is to share. I better cause you pain than keep it peaceful and pleasant.

I speak as a dying person to dying people, but you behave as if you will never pass away along with your whole you.

At the days of Noah people too lived, married and multiplied, drank and ate, fully enjoyed life until the day of wrath.

Fools say in their hearts that there is no God it is like to say I have no mother I made myself - you dont see because you are walking in darkness.

And the wise ones believe in a supreme being, basing on a book that is full of contradictions and is no more scientific than Greek mythology. Fine. If you need your invisible friend just to live in fear, so be it. Enjoy your days of torment, awaiting his revenge. If you´re convinced that an omnipotent supreme being created men just to praise him and never go against him, without knowing, that they´d eventually turn away from him - it´s your choice.

But I think you´re being a bit overly aggressive. People have their right not to share your views. If, at the end of the day it turns out they will be condemned, it´s their thing. If they want to live their lives enjoying the moments they have here, why spoil their fun? Maybe you are wrong...there´s no way to know it until we die

Sometimes I like the way you write. I want to exactly write this way but most of the time cannot going beyond thinking - my last station! Anyway, I did enjoy reading your post in every respect. Thanks!

If you find any contradiction, take it, come with it, lets see it. If you dont have any example then dont say it.

The Bible never claimed to be scientific. Where does it say so?

You, DD, know nothing about my invisible friend, and yet you speak of Him. Strange {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

I prefer to live in fear than to live a life of ignorance, pretend we are animals going nowhere, pretend we have no souls, no thoughts.

God knew that humans would go against Him, God knew they would fall. Are you reading this?

I think you bit exaggerate that Im agressive. Can you give me an example of my agressive post? Or did you become so sensitive lately?

It is not only God will condemn you, He has already condemned you.

Spoil their fun? Are you joking? Do my posts spoil your fun? Dont you exaggerate now? What, they stopped sleeping and eating because of my posts? {#emotions_dlg.unsure} stopped having fun?

You see, when you are agressive towards my belief and show your utterly disrespect, its OK. right? And when I poke your anti-theism its suddenly not OK. Suddenly I am agressive.

You constantly judge me via religions when I am not there. You say Bible this and that as if you are smarter than Bible or you could write such book yourself. Everyone speaks of Bible´s contradictions, the net is full of them if you google.

I am telling you, DD, you dont know.
