a. Subject + BE

   I am a student.--->   Ben öğrenciyim

   You are a student---->Sen öğrencisin

   We are teachers  ----> Biz öğretmeniz

   Past tense form;

   I was a student.--->   Ben öğrenciydim

   You were a student---->Sen öğrenciydin

   We were teachers ---> Biz öğretmendik.

b. Subject + BE + Adjective

   The answer is wrong ---> Cevap yanlış[tır].

   The table is clean-----> Masa temiz[dir].

   Turkish is an easy language ----> Türkçe kolay bir dil[dir].

    Past tense form ;

    The answer was wrong ---> Cevap yanlıştı.

    The table was clean-----> Masa temizdi.

    Turkish was an easy language ----> Türkçe kolay bir dildi.

c. Subject + BE + Prepositional phares

   The hospital is outside the town ---> Hastane kasabanın dışında[dır].

   This is the place where I met her first time ---> Burası onunla ilk tanıştığım yer[dir].

    Past tense form ;

    The hospital was outside the town ---> Hastane kasabanın dışındaydı.

     This was the place where I met her first time---> Burası onunla ilk tanıştığım yerdi.
