and your point is??? the way you speak and the way you send txt message's and the way you write emails are totally differnt from the way you speak for me personally in any way i am proud of who i am the way i speak the way talk my life is just great the fact that you are trying to put me down in front of people on the internet for using the english language incorrectly is fine because at the end of the day i have a great life, a great job, lovely car, lovely family the list goes on but i think you get the picture

It seems I touched a nerve It is probably not prudent to mention that your last post was the longest sentence, without punctuation, I have ever seen! lol

If you're going to be that picky about others, perhaps I should mention that you missed out a fullstop, right after the word 'nerve'?

That is because I wanted to use an exclamation mark. I am bored now - go and play all of you. Or perhaps lern sum Inglish!

I would say that i'm doing rather well considering that English is not my first language. Unless you beg to differ.

I have no argument with you or your grammar, which, it has to be said, is far superior to the English posts. Yes, you are doing very well. (The full stop was for you ).

Me too, you were just unlucky enough to be on the other end of it!

Well it seems you two have proved Bod's point . It is a sad fact that the beauty of the English language is disappearing fast thanks to text messages, email and poor education but it is inconsiderate and ignorant to use slang on this website - except maybe in Off-Topic. It is sad that people learning English as a second language have a better use of grammar and vocabulary than native English. Dumb Britain lol!

Absolutely.......

I am dismayed that I am unable to find a single newspaper in England that challenges me linguistically. To find such material I need to go outside of my native country.

People that choose to dilute the flamboyance of our cultural and literary heritage with inadequate grammar simply perpetuate the concept that lazy language is trendy. But ultinmately in undermines our identity as a populus and as a descrete society.
