whats wrong in attacking / criticising islam?
femme's question is right question.
How come you miss this very basic point: If there is an idea, there will be criticisims as well.

Right, lets go to the book.
Can anybody tell me that Islam gives same right to women as well as men? Give me the name of the verses from Kuran. I will go and read it again, I promise.

What are you talking about here. Even the most sophisticated muslim 'alim' wont say anything about equality. He will try to explain 'god did not create us equal. Women has different job to do in this world etc etc'.

There's a difference between EQUALITY and EQUITY. A man and a woman can never be equal face it! they are not meant to be equal. Equity is the way.

yeah, women are less smarter, weaker, therefore lets treat them as a lower class creatures to be used in reproduction and sex pleasure

Wives are tilths: sow in them in whatever manner you like...2:223

Menstruation is a disease; can't have sex during a woman's period; after the period is over have sex in any manner, at any time and at any place; God loves those who are pure and clean...2:222

004.011
YUSUFALI: Allah (thus) directs you as regards your Children's (Inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females:

Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great. 004.034

try to digest these verses above

dear all (muslims and infidels)

if i hide my thoughts (about religions, history and politics) under the carpet and make a stupid face to an evil game, you would accept me, and would bless me clapping your hands, but then it would be a hypocrasy.

long ago i have decided that i would be speaking my mind (wether its inconvinient or not to the majority) than keeping silent.
theres a saying in my country: "silence is a gold". well, i disagree with it. "silence is cowardness". those journalists who keep silent and dont talk of difficult issues are safe in all aspects, but those who reveal the facts are often found dead after they dared to print "the shames". this usually happens in eastern countries.

dont expect that i will nod my head and tolerate the injustice.

It just makes no sense to me that you are on this site with your constant remarks on the religion and culture. If you do not like it, then don't come on here. I'm sure you can find an anti-islam site. But it's in very poor taste to do it in this particular site. If I had certain negative feelings towards christmas I wouldn't join a site about Christmas and just keep telling people there is no real father christmas, or keep moaning about the commercialism of Christmas, ruining it for the other people on the site. please, have some respect for the site and the users on it. Just because you have an opinion on their religion, does not mean you have to keep on when people on here clearly love their religion.

Equity comes from latin aequitas, originally meaning equalness, fairness.
Aequitas is depicted as a GODESS, holding a pair of scales, a scepter and a diadem. Sometimes has a cornucopia. She represents true fairness, that, which is above the laws of mankind, which, just as man himself, cannot be perfect.
Equity was the symbol of fairness, impartiallity, symmetry and evenness.

It entered the law concepts and terminology, since roman period. Later relogious dogmas and principles as well begun usage of the concept.

We even have wife's equity nowadays...

And all these were a godess...

Why not - if you really work at it. Are you planning to move out to Zimbabwe? You may have trouble getting a visa.

Quoting CANLI:

As for Darfur,
Darfur for those who dont know,is south of Sudan,in Africa
İts actually part of Sudan.
And a few few years ago they've discoverd Uranium there,'sorry, not oil!'
And guess what,
Suddenly this poor area got weapons, and start to demand to be sperated from their mother country which is Sudan
And then start to sing that lovely song about how the government mistreat them 'as most of them have become Christians'
And then the Great countries out of their kind hearts want to help Darfur people ,not for the Uranium of course !

İ wonder, who has giving them the weapons at the first place, and why ?!

Opppss,forgot to add,Sudan İS a Muslim Country !

here we have the true face of islamic/muslim mentality!
i even dont need to reveal it, they themselves show their sick mentality. what i mean? i mean this: according to a wonderful muslim lady CANLI: because those black africans decided to choose christianity and discovered uran we had to kill them off for the security of the islamic state of sudan! uran and christianity gave them a right to carry out genocide?
what else islamists make up in order to justify their evil deeds? this justification is very stupid!
so those poor uneducated blacks stood as a threat to sudanese?
can you imagine that one day europeans kill off all the muslims in their countries? they are indeed a threat to europe! most of terrorists come from western europe.
what would you say in that case? would you justify europeans?
