The installer needs to access files in the 'i386' directory which must be in the same path as the installer itself. Are you sure you have extracted the files (clicked 'Extract all files')??? It will not work if you just double click the ZIP file as this only views the contents it does not extract the files.

Personally I find this approach very confusing.......
I find I easier to understand, and perhaps more importantly remember, the methodology from this lesson which treats the suffix as being the same whether it follows a vowel or consonant. The same result is achieved as above by treating the suffix as being the same but dropping the initial vowel or adding a fusion consonant as appropriate:

Examples:
my book - kitap-ım - kitapım
my car - araba-ım - arabam ('ı' is dropped)

his book - kitap-ı - kitapı
his car - araba-ı - arabası ('s' is treated as a fusion consonant)

Of course whether you treat the suffixes as being really different for following vowels/consonants or whether you treat them as being modified makes no practical difference as the result is the same. Personally I find remembering one suffix and a number of rules for modification easier to rememeber.

I cannot get the notepad to work......
I cannot use 'view' mode, only edit. And if I save that and then look at it again it messes up the Türkçe characters

But no - I don't currently keep a list of suffixes except in my head :-S

It is a new keyboard layout that I have created based on the standard English (UK) keyboard layout. The extra characters:
ç ğ ı ö ş ü
Ç Ğ İ Ã– Ş Ãœ
are accessed using AltGr + key (or Ctrl+Alt + key)

This has the advantage of keeping all the English (UK) characters in the same place but making the Türkçe characters easily accessible at the same time.

I have uninstalled the standard UK keyboard layout from all my machines now and only use the one from here
