Dün o iki atı bançe çitimi yemdi!

Yesterday two horses were eating my garden hedge!

dün iki at bahçe çitimi yiyordu

Why is "at" not in the assusative state as it is the direct object of the sentence???

becoz two horses means iki at in turkish...

I realise that.......
But I thought that the direct object of a sentence had to be put into the accusative noun state - "iki atı"

"Can hemen evde olmasının ne kadar iyi olduğunu..."

This sentence is uncompleted. The verb is missing. It could be like this:
"Can hemen evde olmasının ne kadar iyi olduğunu fark etti."

Ah!!!

That is because I got so far through translating the text and realised that the link to the site from which it came had been removed from this site because it has been claimed to carry religious propaganda.......the remainder of that sentence includes references to Allah - hence I stopped where I did and haven't quoted the URL of the sourse text......

VERY MINOR POINTS, BUT bod SHOULD BE AFTER PERFECTION
Can da pencerenin gelip yağan yağmuru seyretmeye başladı. . So Can came by the window and started watching the falling rain.

I am after perfection
But equally I know I am unlikely to ever have the exposure to Türkçe to be perfect........but yes - I want corrections however minor!!!

The word I really struggled with throughout the text was "kenarına" as the dictionary translates it as "place away from it all" but that doesn't exactly make sense to the translation.

Quoting angelina-Melek:

By the way, whom does the name “Can” refer to? A man or a woman?

If the accompanying pictures are anything to go by, Can is a young boy.
