I wonder how Turkish will go out of hand? All of a sudden will we start to speak English? Is this possible?

All of a sudden we cannot start to speak English. this is impossible. But after a long time of period education under a foreign language (that is only seen in colonizated countries) higher educated people lose their advanced native language skills in their profession, also kendi alanlarında da konuya yüzde yüz hakim olamıyorlar. In the long run this influence development of a country both in language and science.

yerden yere vurduğumuz osmanlı bile eğitimi arapça veya farsça olarak yapmamıştır. eğitim hep türkçe (osmanlı dönemi türkçesi) olmuştur. yabancı diller de iyi derecede öğretilmiştir.

some music allowed some are not allowed in religion shortly. details may be found in their sources. it is not our duty to extract halals and harams from the base sources cus we are not experts.

we have freedom to care or not to care about religious stuff. yet we are responsible for them in hereafter if it is exists. this forum is not the right place to discuss if music is haram or halal. if there is a need for this discussion i can forward you to some other discussion platforms.

i know some turkish discussion forums for general purpose.
some of them have more than 1 million members.
some of them have special purpose like movies, literature, religion, computer, game, sports...

some google search enough to find them...

i think this forum has a special subject, too: turkish language and related areas for non-turkish. of course we can discuss different things but in the right place in the right form. rules invented to protect this special subject.

You know those who used the dark side were also known as dark jedi. Being jedi and using the light side of the Force are not the same thing always. Remember, Anakin Skywalker was a jedi and yet transformed into Darth Vader. But if you are like Obi-Wan Kenobi, it´s okay

all i know about these movies is turkish star wars, AKA the man who saved the world Never watched the original ones.

I suggest, instead of arguing about Ottoman Language, we should talk about the English influence , especially onto our high education that is happening at present time.

Bye Bye Türkçe by Oktay Sinanoğlu is a good book, recommended.

Etrak-ı biidatrak, means idraksiz Türkler, in English "Turks with no capacity to perceive", It shortly means "idiot Turks."  How can you defend such a racist saying?

yeah i know its meaning and as i said before there are many idiots among turkish people. I dont think they mean all turks because many of them are turks, too. Every part of the world, every nation in the world has its own douchebags!

My turkish teacher in university mentioned this theory and gave some photocopy notes about it. Before that i didnt hear it.

It was a practical solution to end language purification but it cannot be proven, because we dont have written text for more than 5000 years. it is a discussion whether there was a proto language and all the languages in the world originates from it or not. They call this proto language turkish but as its a proto proto language it can be any language.
