hi!
would apprecıate some advıce on the followıng
at the moment am lıvıng ın ıstanbul but have been told that ıt ıs much cheaper to lıve ın bodrum and that would have good chance of fındıng a job there . also ı have been told that the schools there are good and cost very lıttle money - the same goes for antalya -- could anyone please enlıghten me to all of thıs . thanks very much
Elaine x

I dont think it s cheaper in Bodrum and Alanya coz these places are like UK! day and day english population is increasing there and it s expensive for foreigners. I dont advise, dont listen anybody.

i agree with janissary i lived in istanbul since i was 2 years old and worked in bodrum for summer times in tourism also i have been in antalya/alanya which was really disappointing i didnt have anything to do no friends no socialize maybe you can find socilaze but if you are in the center of antalya... alanya, belek, kadriye these places little lovely places but simple village life on there... i live in bodrum for now but soon we will get an apatmant in istanbul soon for winter time, bodrum is very lively and beautiful, lots of english bars and restourants like little england but winter time everywhere closes. you can find so small place open. about working in bodrum ofcourse in the summer but not lots in the winter... istanbul is the best; everything is cheap; cloths foods open markets, doner kebab so cheap and you have lots of chose over there.. i wouldnt move out from istanbul i know i did but that was a mistake and i will be in istanbul winter times again!
ps: my husband is english and he prefers to live in bodrum. also we still sit in our garden with tshirts enjoying the warm sunshine in bodrum!
good luck!
