O çok sakin birisi -----> He/She is very calm person.

O çok sessiz birisi -----> He/She is very quiet person.

Parmağında oynatmak --- > [ literary " to play someone on his/her finger] whiich means " to have a control over someone extremly ]

Tarık, Ayşe´yi parmağında oynatıyor ----> Tarık is controlling Ayşe alot, Tarık  has so much control over Ayşe , Ayşe is doing everything what Tarık tells  her to do.

Benim tarzım değil ----> it is not my style

Bu tişört benim tarzım değil ----> This t-shirt is not my style.

Benim tipim değil ------> He/She is not my type

O kafama göre birisi değil -----> He/She is not type of person I can get on with.

                                            He/She is not type of person I can get along with.

 

Buz hokeyi bana göre değil ----> Ice hockey is not for me. [its not a thing that I can do,its something I cant do ]

Fransızca öğrenmek bana göre değil -----> Learning French is something I can not do.

kilo vermek = [to lose kilos ] to lose weight

zayıflamak = [to lose weight ] to get thinner

bir deri bir kemik kalmak = [ literary " to become skin and bone ] which means "to become extremly skinny.

On parmağında on marifet olmak = [ literary " to have 10 talents on his/her 10 fingers ] which means " to be very talented "

O kızın on parmağında on marifet var ------> She is a very talented girl.

Parmakları yemek = [ literally "to eat fingers "] which means " it was so delicious that I ate my fingers" its a saying said after you eat something very delicios.

Yemek o kadar lezzetliydi ki parmaklarımı yedim------> The meal was so delicious that I ate my fingers.

Dilini yutmak = [saying] [ literally " to swallow his/her tounge ]which means to be extremly silent, not to talk a word"

Dilini mi yuttun ? Birşeyler söylesene! ---> Did you swallow your tounge ? Say something !

Cebinde akrep olmak = [ to have a scorpion in his/her pocket ] which means " to be very stingy,mean ,tight

O adamın cebinde akrep var ----->  That man is very stingy [mean,tight]

Tamir etmek = to repair

Onarmak = to  repair

Tamirci= Repair man

Mangır = [slang] Money

Beş parasız = [slang] The person who has no many at all..Skinny..

Beş parasız kalmak =  To have no money

O adam iflas etti. Şimdi beş parasız kaldı ----> That man went bankrupt. Now he has no money at all.

Cebi delik = [literally " to have a hole in his pocket ] which is " The person who has money"
