The examples given under "some more examples" are ok, but the part written in blue doesn´t seem to be correct. I think the verb suffixed by -ip must be in relation to the following verb.
In the examples "Pazara gidip bir kilo patates al" or "Oturup çay içiyoruz" the actions are related to each other (go+take) (sit+drink)
You can say, "Yarın hastaneye gidip annemi ziyaret edeceğim", but "Yarın sinemaya gidip annemi ziyaret edeceğim." sounds a bit weird to me. Doesn´t it to you,hocam?
If you want to use -ip with git, this sentence would be more proper, I think, "Yarın önce sinemaya gidip sonra annemi ziyaret edeceğim."
I am confused now, could you elaborate "actions related to each-other" and what do you mean by that??

I am confused now, could you elaborate "actions related to each-other" and what do you mean by that??
Hindistan, here the actions should relate to each-other. For example ;
Pazara gidip bir kilo patates al.
Go to the market and buy a kilo of patotoes
The relation is that Your going market is relating to your buying patotoes.
The purpose of your going to market is to buy patotoes
If the sentence was ;
Pazara gidip dinlen ---> Go to market and rest.
then there wouldnt be any relation with going to market and resting.
so that would sound weird.
