education under a foreign language (that is only seen in colonizated countries)
In my opinion in every country higher education should be partly in English and no one should graduate from university without decent English skills and capability to discuss his own field of science with foreign colleagues. This is not a threat to the native language.
Leave the past to specialists and concentrate on teaching both modern Turkish and English to the whole nation. (Don´t forget minority languages either.)

well... it is not easy to get rid of thousand words in the last 200 years.. anyway.. i am too old so i live in the past

main education language should be always the native language of that country. french for france, chinese for china, turkish for turkey. a perfect foreign language education necessary for educated people to interact the world. education in foreign language classes may be opened for foreign students. after getting their lessons fully in turkish language, turkish students may get the same lessons in a foreign language.
it is strange that in turkey, in a turkish university, by a turkish teacher, to the turkish students education in english only! (not english education, education in english) books may be in many foreign languages but i think education language, speaking in the class and exams, should be always in native language. otherwise we may turn into africa!

Well I don´t think that we ever used 9000 words. :O Maybe 1000,I don´t know,I´m not right person for that.  I see them in epic poem,most.
I´ll find list of 9000 words,and I´ll post here which of them I use.

I have no objection to alphabet change. There are no vowels in Arabic alphabet. And it makes it difficult to learn and read. Latin alphabet is easier than Arabic one. But alphabet change and puricification of language are different things. Puricification is like changing all the Latin, French, German, Greek words in English with the new artificial English words. If this happened in English you wouldn´t understand Shakespeare. This happened in our language. And now we don´t understand and know our most important poets.
I am not against alphabet change but i am against intentionally forgetting the old one. China, japan and some other countries use more than one writing system at the same time and all are taught in schools.

I have no idea. I tried to do it again,but I couldnt. 
Yes,that´s the commons word,there is one which is Serbian- Višnja. Some are from English or German(I´m not sure)

Why on earth? (Unless the reason is political like someone suggested in the very beginning.)
Arabic orthography does not possibly do justice to Turkish. (I don´t know which language it does justice to.) There are examples of it in this thread.
Latin writing system is fine. Cyrillic would work quite well also but I know you people don´t like it so much...

i think in pragmatic way, use latin but know the previous one. when you go to a library and open a turkish book in old alphabet dont look at it as if it is chinese! that is all i ask for.
some turkic countries use latin and cyrillic together. even uygurs still use perso arabic letters. turks in iran use perso arabic and latin together...
i am talking against state policy again. but i am trying to find the best way.
