Some more:

Turkish version: Nilüfer - Çok uzaklarda
Greek version: Charis Alexiou - Tango tis nefelis
(above song has the music of Loreena Mckennit)

Turkish version: Bengü - Korkumdan ağladım
Greek version: Anna Vissi - Ekplisi

Turkish version: Hülya Avşar - Sevdim
Greek version: Anna Vissi - Eleni

Turkish version:Sezen Aksu - Vazgeçtim
Greek version: cant find it online, but it is originally from Eleftheria Arvanitaki - Ta shinia (I dont know if I transcribed it correctly from the greek album, but it is supposed to mean 'the ropes').

Turkish version: Sezen Aksu - Sarışın (couldnt find better quality now) (or more modern: Gülşen ( )
Greek version: Eleftheria - Dinata

There are many many more. Sorry for the Turkish who keep saying that the Greek steal their food and music: most of these songs are originally Greek even the ones of Sezen Aksu Have to say I prefer all their originals, except the ones sezen did.

And this is the perfect mix between Turkish and Greek:

Charoula and Minik Serçe!! Its the song Gidiyorum bu şehirden in Turkish, and my two favourite singers made a düet of it, Sezen Aksu and Charis Alexiou!

Quoting si++:

Though there is no feminine suffix in Turkish, this one (-içe) is an import from a Slavic language (Serbian I guess,or -is it Russian?).

Similarly
çar = czar
çariçe = czarina
.

It is from Serbo-Croat language
and the first form was Kıraliçe with an extra -ı-. You also have imparatoriçe 'empress', and tanrıça, the Öztürkçe for 'ilahe' (from Arabic) which means 'godess'. These were the sole contribution of this suffix to the language reform under Atatürk and the suffix is non-productive.

is this correct
simdi uyumeliyim
I must sleep now

According to the vowelharmony the two-shaped suffix of MELİ/MALI has to be malı in this case:

Uyumalıyım.

Offf I drank redbull after dinner to stay awake after a very tiring week, because I had to go on studying. Now I decided to drink a glass of wine to 'undo' the effect of the redbull so I can actually get some sleep and wake up in time to go to work tomorrow morning, ama nasıl çarptı yaaa :-S

Askim kalp kalbe karsidir derler buna bende sana sms yazacaktim sen bana yazdin sanada iyi geceler

My love, they call this 'the hearts towards the heart': I was just going to write you an sms and you wrote me! Goodnight to you too

(Kalp kalbe karşı - it is an expression which expresses that lovers think and feel the same, when one is sad, the other is so too etc. It has become recently popular because of Ferhat Göçer's song I guess
