Without going into details - I should just like to support Sophie (although she has eloquently and articulately spoken for herself - as always ) There of course was an underlying message to the author of the thread.. and quite justified too. It is easy to judge without knowing the facts and sometimes pm's are a better way of expressing. But it is a 'free country' and forums are for discussion - so hopefully nobody is offended by anything that is written here - certainly we are all entitled to our opinion on every subject.

Totally true idea..Thank you so much...

May i ask WHY you are actually thankful for this message?

Another member? Wow! He must have been very busy! lol

If i understood the underlying message correct (in other words: Sophie, Boop or Sevgilim, not to cause misunderstandings, can someone enlighten me by PM?)
I think i can be added to the list

hey guys and girls..also ladies falan filan :=)

i know some spanish but not enough...
what is the best way for learning spanish?
i know a method..it always the best one...but what are the others??

btw the best method is to date with a spanish girl...

Hehe i think dating a spanish chica will leave you with words like 'te quiero' and 'bailamos', 'te encuentro muy encantadora' 'estoy loco por tí' but not daily talk or something that you can read the newspapers with

I have the same desire like you, i want to learn more spanish as well, as i only know some VERY basic things. I don't have time for it, but at school i found a leaflet of the 'Diplomas de Español como Lengue Extranjera'. It's an institute that gives spanish diplomas in different places in the world. I googled their dutch site and saw they have a centre in Istanbul as well, and also give courses. I don't know about the prices and if there are courses in each centre, but i think you might like to take a look at this site: click here for the Istanbul-page of the institute

The most links open in a Spanish page, but i was able to understand them, so i think you will too

You can go there and if they don't give courses, I'm sure they can help you abotu good study methods.

degil is neither " isn't " nor " wasn't
degil = not
kolay degil = not easy
zor degil = not hard.
o kadar zor degil = not that hard..
beni gormus degil = he didn't see me ..

Yeah but we were referring to the text, in which 'isn't' would be quite logical. Still thanks for your explanation.. ohh im so not ready for sentences like beni gormus degil

Good explanation, just that 'değil' is present time

değil = wasn't
değil = isn't

Oh! You're absolutely right Esther. What an embarrassing slip of the...finger
