Quoting Daydreamer

My Borateuse is a tad rusty so I´ll type it in Polish:

"Sto Lat, Sto Lat Niech Zyje, Zyje Nam!!!"

You´re gonna have to imagine me singin that, Borat lol

Happy Birthday!

You forgot the second verse: "A kto z nami nie wypije, niech sie pod stol skryje" lol

Quoting Joyce111

Can anyone help? I am trying to upload some photos of Turkey onto the TC site. I get a message saying file size is invalid (? too big) so how do I make them smaller?? Just normal photos taken on a digital camera - would cropping them a bit help?

Thanks to anyone who knows what they´re doing, ´cos I don´t!!!  {#lang_emotions_unsure}

You can try compressing the pictures first before you crop them. I don´t know what program you´re using, I´m using Microsoft Office Picture Manager and in that program, all you need to do is go to "Pictures" and then choose "Compress Pictures" - once you click on that a menu will come up and you can choose "Compress for Web Pages". Of course you´d need to save the compressed version in order to upload it later.

I hope that helps.

sanada kalbin gibi temiz ve iyi bir yil dilerim Þans hep senle olsun

I say (clean what is in your heart) and have a good year. also lots of luck

Think the first bit is a Turkish phrase though

maybe forget all the bad things etc etc

I´m a little confused about this one, if someone could break this down, that would be great.

Could "kalbýn gibi temiz" be translated as "pure as your heart"?

Sanada = sana da? To you too?

Are there any left to do? I´ve lost track.

I think all are translated, but if you could check them I´d appreciate it. There might be mistakes.

 I just tried to google it but couldn´t find it - you should claim it as your own! lol

lol Let´s call it "creative" translating. Some poetic license is allowed when you´re just learning, right? {#lang_emotions_bigsmile}

Kullanýldýkça keskinleþen tek alet dildir.

On this one I´m not sure either, but I think it says something like:

Language is the only tool that gets sharpened by using.
