I'm reluctant to discuss my own view on the army, and there's nothing in my post above that was pointed negatively towards it. And by no means are people in Tunceli terrorists, I'm well aware of that. I read that there are an estimated 350 terrorists spending the winter in the mountains there, but anyway my comment was simply directed at the fact that there seems to be some tension between the general population and the army. I think it's a shame. But unfortunately it indeed true that soldiers normally can't leave the karakol because of it. Maybe in Tunceli merkez (I'm not aware of that) but not in the smaller towns. I wish there wouldn't be so much tension in the region in general because it's such a beautiful with rich cultural values.
Anyway I'm not trying to raise a touchy subject
