Can you explain why 'si' is added at the end of Ã¶nce and evvel? and i have another query. My turkish friend told me 'uzgunum' means im upset and not im sorry? im confused?

i think more literal and appropriate translation for this sentence may be 'Ã–ncesi iÃ§in Ã¶zÃ¼r dilerim'. Here 'Ã¶ncesi iÃ§in' answers the question 'Ne iÃ§in?(what for?)' so it should be preposition.'si' suffix here is used to make 'Ã¶nce' a preposition, im not turkish teacher but it should be like this.When u translate it word by word its like 'Ã–nce hakkında Ã¶zÃ¼r dilerim.' doesnt make sense, not a good sentence in turkish.
Ur second question, ur friend is right, i used it to make more meaningable in turkish.
