hoşuna git-mek: generally used for non-humans, for actions etc.

hoşlan-mak: generally used for humans, meaning to like someone.

they have same meaning but just some details, not a problem if replaced.

Did you enjoy your food (lunch)? :

Yemeği beğendin mi?

or

Yemek hoşuna gitti mi?

Yemek yemekten hoşlanıyor muydun?

Not a literal translation but it means:

Do you like eating, I am suprised cus i was thinking that you dont like it much.)

I am searching for the origin of languages over internet. There is no agreement on this subject and i think there will never be.

Generally there are two kind of theories:

1. Evolutionist theories: Like all living things, languages started and evolved in millions of year.

2. Creationist theories: Like all living things, a language or languages created by god.

Origin of language

Is Arabic the Language of Adam? or of Paradise?

In what language we think, our native language?
if yes, is it possible to think in more than one language
or to change the language of thinking?

I met someone who lived in united states for about 50 years but he was born and raised in turkey. his native and first language was turkish in his early life. he still speaks and understands turkish. anyway, someone asked him in turkish, in what language you think when you are walking on the road alone? He answered "in english" even though his first and native language was turkish.

tünaydın! meaning: "good afternoon"

i hate this word.

actually i cannot say it is really turkish, just a made-up non-used word.

it was once used by one or two teachers only at schools when i was a student.

totally thousands of thousands teachers used this wprd in every part of turkey.

i never heard this word outside the school.

one of the many state forced words, i am very glad no one used it and it was forgotten.
