Thread: about turkish girls ??

I cannot generalize all girls depending just on nationality, but it´s very rare, much rarer than boys that turkish girls date with a foreign guy. It´s not impossible, there are some examples, I saw a few girls who got married to a foreign guy and the guys did not even change their religion, however they were free girls, I mean not religious, drinking alcohol and working girls who got high education as well. Otherwise turkish girls often prefer turkish boys to marry, even being muslim is not enough. So, even if she likes and loves you, she might not prefer to stay with you, because often for turkish girls marriage is the biggest goal in their lives and a serious relationship should lead to marriage,  and they usually want to date with a potential husband. She tries a lot of men to pick the best one among them maybe and she cannot see you as a potential husband. So, she thinks, you are not worth her time and efforts.

But, they are just my assumptions, I just said one of the possible reasons. Maybe the reason is totally different. We do not know anything about this girl. Maybe she just likes dating with men. Where is this girl,  in Turkey or in a foreign country?

Bilakis = tam tersine

Both of them are used, maybe "bilakis" these days not so so much but you won´t sound weird if you use "bilakis".

I think they will look for Turkish women to marry them to escape from Saudi women (good ones are not included of course)

Why? What´s wrong with saudi women after 10 years?

What does this mean please?

ya bırak allah aşkına
utanamdan birde kıyaslıyorsun mustang la kendi arabanı
şaka gibisin resmen

stop it for the sake of god

Without feeling embarassed, you dare to compare your car with mustang. You are really like a joke.

but i dont like turkish man, actually never liked just my only one - in the rest of them i cannot find anything attractive for me as they are to hairy, to dark, sometimes so so annoying and more i am sick of their attention as they cannot accept word "no" but if someone likes - good luck!

Then seeing that you want to work and live in Turkey, your situation is a bit pitiful.

I think you get an international student card from where you are coming, and then can use it in Turkey. You should have discounts wherever any turkish student has I guess. So in museums, buses, metros, cinemas etc...

An addition:

"yaşlı" to describe animals and all kind of living things as well. For example "yaşlı bir kedi" (an old cat), "yaşlı bir ağaç" (an old tree).

Yok doesnt mean no,it means does not exist

As var mean...exist

"Yok" can mean "hayır" as well. At least it is used that way.

For example:

- Biraz daha kahve ister misin? (Do you want more coffee?)

Yok, sağol. (No, thanks)

- Bu filme gidelim mi? (Shall we go to this film?)

Yok, ben o filmi gördüm. No, I have seen that film.
