ı asked about floors because ı think some part of the description is wrong. ıf you say "my home is on the 4th floor" it should go like "evim dördüncü katta" or something like that, sorry, not sure much

is it true, trudy? did you really mean that your home has four floors? (evimde dört kat .. var) or actually it is on the forth floor?

hmmm i'm a bit confused, guys. please help!!

"görüşÃ¼rüz" - what tense is it? ı used to think it's geniş zaman but... if so why forms like "dönürüz" (dönmek) or "yüzürüz" (yüzmek) are wrong and "döneriz" and "yüzeriz" should go instead?

also i think it is quite common for names of national meals to have no tranlation in the other languages...

for example 'baklava' (in rus it sounds like 'pahlava') or helva (in rus 'halva'; though i'm not sure if it is originally turkish or not :-S )

Quoting rena:

ooh yes, it makes some sense now. thank you!

but still a question remaining.. why couldn't ı use ayşe'miştir? it relates to past and it is a guess (tahmin)..

why?

aaaaaa yesterday i found the answer for this question myself... in my hitit grammar book

it says for nouns and adjectives only -dir suffix is possible (in a 'tahmin-guess' case)

i should always read more carefully...
