maybe "qulusun" was meant to be "gülüsün", then it means "the rose of my heart"

PART 57

Before starting their program, Timur made an announcement:
- Estimable ladies and gentlemen! You all know the importance of this day. Today is the day of the precious ladies who add meaning and beauty to our lives. That's why we congratulate the "Women's Day" of all the ladies and give our first song as a gift to the women". All the customers responded Timur's announcement with sincere applauds. The first piece the group sang was a beautiful Russian song. Except the word "Jenshina" which meant "a woman" I didn't understand anything of its words. Certainly it had to be a song related to women. It seemed that except me everyone in the café was drinking. The tables were filled with vodka, beers, champagne, wine and various drinks I still didn't know their names. Now and then someone from the groups around the tables would stand up and say "cheers". At that time his friends at the table, as if they were in a religious ceremony, their wineglasses in their hands, without talking at all, would listen to the talker with a serious expression and then while applauding him drink their drinks. Till the meeting ended every one at the table had to do that kind of a speech. Unfortunately tonight I was going to adapt to this custom, that I've never got used to. Likewise our ceremony started with Luda's toast. After her the glasses were clincked; But at the drinking of the drinks stage, what I was afraid of happened. The German teacher Maria noticed that I was drinking Sprite and said:
- Mr. Fatih! What you're doing isn't right at all! Why aren't you drinking with us? Furthermore in a day like this!"
